Chapter Twenty Eight

"So you're telling me that you killed the young man who was killing all the makers?" Nash and I nodded as Krona leaned forward his forearms resting on his lap and his hands clamped together "then I don't have much to worry about" he smiled, I hoped deep down that he would leave but I knew that was a wish I wasn't going to get, Charles stared from across the room, I felt bad for him, he was still struggling with the death of his maker "Charles...." Krona began, he looked at Charles with sadness and sympathy

"I'm sorry about Aksel, he was an amazing man and I know you loved him like a father" Krona whispered, he did, indeed, look hurt by Aksel's death. It makes me wonder what kind of man he was. If it was krona, I believe Nash would be over the moon but Charles seemed to really love and admire his maker and he is still distraught about his death "Thank you" Charles piped up, knocking me out of my thoughts, "we should have a funeral for him" I whispered without realising I said it at first "what a brilliant idea, we can honor his memory and everything he had done in his life" krona smiled, Charles looked at me an emotion I wasn't sure about but I knew he wasn't mad, it was a look that he was slightly grateful for what I said.

I lay in bed, my eyes still heavy and becoming a bitch to open, shows you what only sleeping a couple of hours a week does to you, when I finally found the strength, I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I rolled my head, stretching out my neck and wiggled my toes before standing up, I slipped on my slippers then opened my door.

When I got to the living room, Nash was sitting reading a book in his boxers, I smiled at him and he slowly stood up grabbing my hands "you're up very early" he whispered resting his forehead against mine "my sleeping schedule is screwed up" I whispered, he hummed softly and lifted a remote, suddenly a stevie wonder song began playing on the CD player "Stevie Wonder" I giggled raising my eyebrow, he held out his hand silently asking me to take it, which I did happily. He pulled me into his arms and he swayed us to the song "ribbon in the sky, one of his best" Nash said softly, I closed my eyes as he traced his fingertips light on the middle of my back.

"So you still up for marrying me?" I whispered, he stopped and looked down at me "why do you think I played this song?" He smiled, I smiled at him before resting my head on his chest "so will this be our song?" I asked sheepishly "unless you want another?" He asked "no, this is -" I paused to look into his eyes "perfect" his eyes lit up and he leaned my body over his arm before kissing me "then let's start preparing for our wedding" he chuckled against my lips.

Nash POV

We strolled down the street hand in hand and soon stopped outside a the venue Kate dreamed about getting married, I opened the door and followed inside after her, "isn't it beautiful" she smiled, her fingertips lightly stroking across the wall "absolutely" I whispered breathlessly "I never thought you're breath would be taken away" she smiled "I may not need to breathe but I can become breathless by something beautiful, like you" I whispered in her ear so no one here could hear me, her cheeks when red as she blushed, I kissed her hand before lacing my cold fingers between her warm ones.

"This is a great place for you're marriage" the woman said to us as she gave us a tour "how much would the wedding cost here?" Kate asked biting her lower lip with nerves, I grabbed her hand to calm her down "200 thousand or so and that doesnt include everything else you're going to need" Kate gasped and her face fell as her dreams shattered "we want the wedding here, so when can I pay?" I smiled, Kate's head snapped up to look at me in disbelief "wait, where did you get that money?" Kate whispered "I have quite alot of money" I smiled with a wink, she still looked shocked but the corners of her mouth turned up in a smile, I looked back at the lady who looked shocked "I've never had someone ask that quickly" she said before letting out a nervous chuckle "you need to save the date then" she added before leading us into a room

"I'm sorry I need to go to bathroom really quick" Kate piped up "of course, it's down there and to the left" she smiled, Kate smiled before walking away but not before I gave her hand a kiss, she smiled leaving the room As soon as the door closed the lady's hand trailed down my arm "I know what you are Nash" she whispered in my ear, before walking around to face me "who are you?" I snapped grabbing her wrist tight enough to make her grunt in pain

"Don't you remember me Nash?" She smiled before her appearance slowly changed, I blinked in disbelief before quickly releasing her "Angelina, but..but you're dead" I hissed, she tutted while wagging her index finger "not as dead as her" she smiled, before making the real lady appear, her body disfigured and lifeless "you're sick!" I snapped "wow coming from you, remember you left me like that before Nash" she cackled "and now I'm going to hurt you as pay back for what you did to me and beauty" she snarled just then Kate appeared before she froze on the spot, her pupils consumed her iris' then she broke her own neck falling limp to the ground, i was stuck, an invisible wall stopping me from help her, her eyes drained of life, i turned around and grabbed Angelina by the throat, "you killed her!" I shouted before biting her and ripping out the flesh before the walls seemed to fall away and then i seen her laughing maliciously "no nash, you just killed her" she pointed down at my arms for me to see Kate holding her throat "kate, holy shit i didn't mean to" i said, "Nash save me please" she cried "if you turn her she will not be as she was, she will be a killing machine" Angelina whispered in my ear "fuck you" i shouted before biting me arm and feeding her it "you'll regret that" she laughed before disappearing taking kate with her in a black cloud, her powers have gotten stronger through the centuries so i wasn't able to do anything to stop her, the only thing i had left of kate, was her ring which must have fallen off, i was going to get Kate back and i was going to make sure that bitch gets what coming to her

And this time

I'll make sure she's dead !
