Chapter Six

Nash and I walked together our hands hooked together, he slowed down and groaned, I looked at him before pulling him into a goth shop, it was dark there and he instantly relaxed, we looked around and seen some really cool things but one thing caught my eye, a black dress with a dark blood red corset, I slowly stroked it and smiled, I felt Nash behind me, I turned to see his eyes staring over my body intensely, I grabbed his necklace and pulled him over to me, I kissed him and I felt his arm stretch out behind me "I'll buy this for you" he mumbled against my lips before biting my lip

I giggled and shook my head "no you don't have to" I smiled, he pouted his lip and walked to the counter handing it to the woman behind it, she scanned it and Nash handed her the money for it "well hello my dear Nash" a man smiled coming out o the store room "hello Sir krona" Nash said tensing up "how have you been?" Sir krona asked, the way he looked at me made me want to scream and run out of there but I wasn't going to leave Nash

"I have been good, sir how have you been?" He asked his voice strained "if I'm honest Nash I am a bit weak at this moment and not to happy about what you done, anyway it's hard to feed around here without being seen but you seem to be ..... surviving" "oh who is this lovely blood bag?" He added grabbing my hand to kiss it "her name is kate" Nash snapped "beautiful lady" Sir krona smiled showing his fangs "we must be leaving now" Nash said pulling me out of the shop, maybe too fast, the sun hit him and he fell to the ground, I quickly helped him up and we walked quickly away.

"Nash who was that?" I asked as we walked into the apartment "fuck sake are you okay?" He asked grabbing my face, he stared at me before hugging me "he was ready to attack you, I let him see too much, he would have killed you just for being with me" he said stroking my hair

I slowly pulled away and looked at him "why was he so upset by you? What did you do?" I asked, he clenched his jaw and growled "tell me" I pushed, he pulled away from me and went into the bathroom "I'm going for a shower" he said before closing the door, I sat down and heard the water running, I frowned and covered my eyes before hearing him humming to himself

I slowly stood up and walked towards the bathroom, I stood at the door and listened to him hum a song I've never heard before in my life, I leaned my head against the door and sighed "kate" he said, I opened my eyes and moved away from the door

"I can smell you out there" he said, that song he was humming echoed through my head and Sir krona's eyes consumed my brain, I slowly walked into the living room and grabbed a knife

"Why am I doing this?" I whispered "I can't stop myself" I lifted the knife and stabbed it into my stomach then pulled it out and stabbed it again, then I went to my wrists and sliced them, as I went to my throat, Nash came running Into the kitchen, his eyes blazing red, "I can't stop" I whispered before slicing my throat, he ran to me and pulled the knife from my hand, he grabbed my neck and put pressure on the wound, my hands scrambled for the knife to finish off what I started, blood poured from my mouth and Nash was trying so hard to control himself, I seen him wince in slight pain before kissing me, my blood spraying on his neck and face, then thing started to burn, I screamed in pain and wreathed in pain in his arms he held me against his body "I'm saving you" he shouted as I screamed, why was I burning my stomach, my arms, my throat and then I passed out.

"Oh who is this lovely blood bag" Sir krona said before kissing my hand, a red light seeped up through my veins into my brain

My eyes flung open and I sat up quickly and looked around the dark room, I slowly slipped out of bed and opened my door, I walked out into the living room to see Nash on his hands and knees cleaning the floor of blood, my blood, he looked up slowly and his eyes widened, in vampire speed I was in his arms

His breathing heavy and nose in my hair smelling me "Nash" I whispered but he wouldn't speak he just wanted to hold me "what happened?" I whispered "Sir krona gave you a poisoned kiss, it is how he compels people to do things without even speaking a word to them, he made you slice yourself up good just to get the reaction I almost had" he explained "what do you mean by the reaction part?" I whispered "I almost couldn't control myself with all that blood but then I remembered myself and knew I had to save you" he said his whispers sending shivers down my spine

"Why is it so difficult for you to be around blood?" I asked "I use to be something I'm not proud to have been, I would rip people apart without a second thought, all of which was under Sir krona's orders, I was like the vampire assassin, I got my orders and no matter who or what age I would kill the person and make sure it was messy, but then I defied his orders when he asked me to kill a child, so I ran away and never went back" he said, I hugged him tighter and snuggled my head against his chest

"Did the child survive?" I asked "yes she did, she lives here actually" he said "thank god you didn't kill her, I know, knowing you that you couldn't live with yourself" I kissed him lightly and he sighed

"She's 19 now and I'm holding her in my arms" he admitted, I looked at him and smiled "me?" I whispered "you are the person I kept seeing, every night, mum and dad never believed me but I knew it was a real person, you protected me" I smiled, he frowned and nodded "I couldn't let them hurt you so I became your guardian, I looked after you until I knew they wouldn't come after you" he whispered

I grabbed him and kissed him passionately, he groaned and lifted me into his arms, I pulled off my top and grabbed his hair as he kissed me, he held me up by holding my butt, I pulled off his jacket and threw it across the room

"Kate you're still healing, we can't take Any chances" he whispered "okay" I whispered back kissing him "just sleep with me" I smiled, he smiled and pulled of his trousers, he lay behind me and I fell asleep.
