Chapter Twenty Three

We decided we had to go back to the wedding reception, just to enjoy our time there, so I put my dress back on and fixed my hair before we left, mum would be shocked to see we decided to go back and with Charles too, but I knew James wouldn't mind anyway he would be drunk by now, we entered the room and people where dancing while some danced in the seats with alcohol in their hands

Just like every other wedding we went to, we walked to the table we where sat at earlier and parked our asses down on the seats "sweetheart you're back" mum slurred sitting down next to us "yeah mum, I just took some more medicine, I feel fine now" I whispered, I noticed the girl from earlier and she looked perfectly fine now, dancing like nothing happened, I smiled at Nash and Charles before one of the bridesmaid wrapped her arms around Charles neck "come dance sexy" she giggled, he rose his eyes brows and followed her, we laughed as he danced with her to a beat filled song "can I have this dance?" Nash held his hand out and waited for me to grab it "oh I thought you'd never ask" I joked with my over acting, I lightly placed my hand in his and he pulled me to my feet and we began to sway to the music, he held one of my hands in mine and the other one rested on my waist while my hand was in his shoulder, we swayed together before he glided me across the floor, a thrilled laugh escaped me before he bent me over his arm and kissed me before pulling me back up straight so our faces where really close, Charles was spinning the girl around and holding her close to, he looked over and winked with a smile before he disappeared between the crowds of people

My attention returned to Nash and he smiled before spinning me around before James stood infront of us "can I steal her from you?" he asked Nash, Nash looked at me before he nodded and released me, James took his place and we began to dance "you feeling better?" He smiled stroking my hair, I nodded and smiled at him "so much better" I giggled "I'm so happy for you" I said letting the tears flow "I'm probably the happiest man right now" he chuckled "because now I get to spend the rest of my life with the woman I love, I would jump infront of a train for Julie, she is my everything" he added looking towards Julie who was dancing with her grandmother who was in her wheelchair, a fresh blood bag hanging from the top of the railing, but those words James said reminded me of Nash and how he done so much for me and protected me putting me before himself everytime

I closed my eyes and nodded "Nash is like that with me" I admitted, when I looked at him again, he smiled down at me "I know" his simple answer proved that he really did know how Nash felt about me, I smiled back at him and we glided across the dance floor "you know a man loves a woman when he puts her over himself, everything he does is so she can have a happy life because when she's happy, then he's happy" he said lowly, I looked up at him and nodded "it's like you read my mind" I giggled, he stroked my hair again before hugging me "I'm so happy you came back little Sis" he chuckled "so am I" my voice muffled against his shirt

The song ended and I gave James a kiss "I love you so much" I whispered "I love you patta Kate" he chuckled before we separated, Nash took me back into his arms and laughed "what?" I muttered "you didn't think I couldn't hear what you two said" he smiled, he smiled, I laughed before nodding "someone can't keep his ears to himself" I joked, he dramatically put his hand over his heart and gasped "well excuse my curiosity" he said pretending to flick his non-existing long hair "oh shut up you" I giggled before we began dancing again.

We waved goodbye to the happy couple before we decided to go for a walk before going home, the girl earlier was still glued to Charles so he decided to stay a while longer with her, Nash's hand slowly slipped into mine, my eyes landed in our hands and I smiled slightly, "we should get married" he whispered when he suddenly stopped, I spun around and looked into his eyes "I'm serious, Kate, I love you, I would bow down at your feet every single day, just to show you I love you, I'd lie for you, I'd kill a thousand times over for you actually I would die a million times over for you and I know you would do the same, I want to spend till the end of time with you by my side" he said pulling me into his arms, I couldn't stop smiling the whole time he was speaking, he lightly stroked my hair while his eyes studied my whole body before his eyes landed on mine and he finally smiled at me

"I'd love to marry you" I whispered, going on my tip toes to snuggle my face into his neck, he wrapped his arms around me and sighed a relaxed breath, I kissed his neck lightly before closing my eyes "I love you Nash" I whispered in his ear, he sighed again before pulling out of the hug and grabbing either side of my head

"I love you too Kate" he smiled before pressing his lips to mine.

The sun began to rise as the tides crashed onto the sand, I pulled my sunglasses down as Nash did, "good morning" he whispered from behind me, my back pressed to his chest "good morning" I turned my head around and kissed him "shall we return home or should we just stay here?" He smiled against my lips "let's stay here a bit longer then go home" I suggested, he nodded and wrapped his arms around me again.
