Chapter Nineteen

I opened my eyes and suddenly the pain hit me like a train, I got to my hands and knees and seen Rahnna walking about the fire, I touched my forehead and seen the blood all over my fingers, I cracked my neck before standing back up

"Krona, is on his way, he's running late, he was with Nash and Mary" I explained as I attempted to stand on my injured leg, "how did you break the spell I put on you?" She snapped "Nash helped me remember" I said before she lifted me again "I've had enough of you, you're just a weak human who in this moment is my own personal rag doll" she said before firing my body to the ground, I screamed from a sudden pain in my leg, my hair was grabbed and I was dragged over to a massive smooth rock before she lifted me and bent me over the rock before she grabbed my leg, I screamed again but couldn't move anymore, like I was paralyzed, but could still feel the pain, then the pain was gone in my leg "I can't have you with a broken leg" she smiled lifting me to my feet, she stared into my eyes as her hand stroked down my cheek to my neck "Krona will be happy to see what I'm doing for him" she said "leave her alone!" Nash demanded, she released me and stepped back slightly and smiled at him, when I spun around I seen Nash with his fangs down and his bright red eyes

Then Mary and Charles ran up behind him and Charles shoved him slightly, he probably left ahead of time because of me

Nash's POV

I heard her scream again and wished for this moment I wasn't a vampire, so I didn't have to listen to her in pain "Nash no!" Charles shouted in a whisper, I hadn't even realised I was moving towards where Rahnna had Kate, I stopped walking then i heard her groaning in pain, the scraping of her clothes as her body as she was dragged across the ground, the smell of her blood consumed the air and then I could hear her scream again, suddenly I was infront of them "leave her alone!" I shouted, she released Kate and walked backwards, Kate turned to me before I felt Charles shove me "fool" he snapped, suddenly Kate screamed as she looked up at the sky, before her hands flung up to her ears and blood began pouring from between her fingers, Rahnna grabbed her and she was defenseless because of whatever Rahnna was doing

I moved forward and flew back, when I looked down I seen the burns my skin sustained, that where already healing "that's it Rahnna, I've had it with your bullshit!" I shouted, I walked towards the invisible wall and pressed against it but my body couldn't pass through, just then Rahnna flew back and Kate fell to the ground unconscious, Charles snarled in the direction of a dark shadowed area before a girl appeared, her hand held in the direction of Rahnna as she muttered random words, I knew her but I don't know how I can smell a witch curse on you from a mile away, I'm part witch part vampire

"You" I whispered "Rahnna what has happened to you!" She shouted "Victoria" Rahnna said sounding shocked, we watched before Victoria turned towards us "you can go to her now" she said addressing me before looking back at Rahnna with extreme intensity "now Rahnna, you've been a very very bad witch" Victoria snapped "you don't scare me Victoria" Rahnna was full a bullshit because her heart beat was telling a different story "is that right Rahnna, because your heart beat tells me different" Victoria laughed, I ran to Kate and scooped her in my arms before running back to Charles and Mary "I knew we should have turned her" Mary muttered, before her eyes began to change and her fangs slowly appeared "she smells so good" she snarled as she lunged at her, Charles quickly knocked her away and she flew back into the distance "I think it would be best if you two leave" he said before Mary stormed back and snarled at Kate, I sped off and soon was at the hospital "I need help, she's been attacked!" I said to the woman behind the counter, she called for help and they took Kate away.

Kate's POV

I slowly opened my eyes but the sun was so bright my eyes couldn't cope and shut them again, I groaned as I felt the sickening dizziness like I was on one of those spinning rides at a fun fair, I heard movement near me and my heart fluttered

"Nash?" I whispered, my eyes shot open and he was there staring at me like a fragile doll "I'm back in here again" I groaned, I looked over and seen another blood bag hanging up "I shouldn't have let you go" he snarled obviously angry at himself "it's okay Nash, It was my choice to be the punching bag remember" I reminded him hoping to stop him from blaming himself, he gave me a pained look and he leaned over me, studying me, he slowly sat back down again and shook his head before glaring towards the blood bag "Nash... if it's affecting you so much, you can leave I'm fine here" I whispered reaching out for his hand, he grabbed my hand and kissed it "I need to be strong for you, I'm not leaving you" he whispered back

"Just go and take a break, sniff coffee or something" I joked, he laughed slightly before looking into my eyes, checking to make sure if I would actually let him go, when I nodded he kissed my forehead and headed towards the door "I'll be back soon" he said before he left

I slowly sat up and groaned due to the pain in my ribs "thank god he is gone, I didn't think he'd leave" a voice said, making my heart rate spike, I went to grab the call button but it was fired from my bed, she climbed up onto of me until she straddled me "now to finish what I started" she laughed before pain consumed my body, I couldn't scream, I couldn't do anything, I felt like my brain was going to explode, she laughed as I felt the pressure building before it disappeared and everything became fuzzy "goodbye little Kate" she laughed before my neck was snapped and I went through a tunnel and suddenly I just seen whiteness.
