So finally we've reached the end! It's been so much fun and enjoyment writing this story. I'm so proud that I was actually able to finish!

8 Months Later
“What do you want to call her?” I asked, looking up at my wife.
“Oh God, right now, I couldn’t care less, just as long as the baby’s out and healthy... and you’re here...”
She weakly smiled and flopped her head against the pillow, looking exhausted.
I held my daughter in my arms and kissed her nose..... and in that moment, I knew that I’d do anything in my power to keep her safe, to make sure she never got hurt. I would do anything for her.
“Cherri....” I smiled, having one of those lightbulb moments.
She looked upwards, “Why Cherri?”
I laughed, “Because the first time I saw you, on that very first day, your beautiful cherry red lips were exactly like our newborn baby girl’s...”
“Cherri,” she breathed, “Cherri....”
“She’s beautiful Kimberley... beautiful....”
She laughed weakly, “Must take after me or something...”
I smiled.... She smiled....
“Thank you Kimberley... thank you so much for giving me my beautiful daughter...”
“It takes two to tango...” she quipped and we were both in stitches of silent laughter, afraid of waking up our beautiful daughter...
Her little button nose, her pouted lips, the cute and curly tufts of blond- brown hair in the middle of her forehead. I loved her. I loved her to the end of the earth and back again.
“Cherri Alexandria... oh Rick, she needs two middle names... I’ve always wanted two middle names...”
“Gabriella...”
She beamed as best she could, she was still so weak, but I could tell that she was happy.
“Cherri Alexandria Gabriela Alonso.... Oh Rick!”
She pulled the both of us towards her, hooking her hand around my neck, kissing my lips softly.
The rest of the world could just melt away.
I had my stunning wife and my beautiful baby girl and life was simply....
Perfect.
