I just picked up Adrian, Avanni and Allisya from school due to the half of day they had. I was on my way to my dad's because he prepared lunch and wanted to to see the kids. Jayden and Layla still was at school. I parked in the driveway getting out to help the kids.
"Mommy I'm hungry," Avanni says holding my hand.
"Grandpa made lunch so we gonna eat."
"Okay love muffin." She mocked me because of the nickname I usually call them.
"Your the love muffin." She giggles just as Allisya and Adrian were having a deep conversation about something.
Because the door was unlocked we walked in seeing my dad in the kitchen with his apron on. He always loved cooking.
"Grandpa!" Adrian, Avanni and Allisya yelled running up to him. I sat my Chanel bag down smiled seeing them interact.
"Hey grand babies." He kissed each of they're foreheads.
"Hey Dad." I gave him a tight hug, smelling the seasoning all over him– it smelled so good. I looked in the pot just as my mouth began to do a happy dance.
