Lucy opened the door to her apartment and walked in. "I never would have thought you'd have standards so low." Her bother touched the dirty door frame and rubbed his fingers together.

"It much bigger on the inside. Promise." She threw her jacket on the couch and turned back to the door. "What are you doing?" Lucy asked her brother. Luke just stared at her with his lips pressed together. "Oh right sorry, come in."

Lucy and Luke sat on the couch, Lucy going over the boundaries and dangers of being in Mystic Falls. Luke opened his mouth to say something, but the door whipped opened. Elijah stood there with a look of disapproval on his face.

"Where were you?" Lucy asked.

"Nevermind that. Why is he here? I trusted you to go alone, yet you came back with company." Elijah hissed. Lucy has never seen him this angry before. "You know he'll kill the first human he sees."

"You know he has a name." Luke crossed his arms.

"You're lucky you even receive a pronoun from my lips. You hardly have the privilege to be acknowledged." Elijah said. Lucy didn't do anything to stop their fighting because she found pleasure in their fighting. "I know I shouldn't have let you go alone Lucia, I knew you'd do something completely moronic."

"My decision was not in any means 'moronic.' Luke is my brother. We all know what lengths you'd go to save any one of your siblings. You'd do the same thing."

"He's unfit for society."

"No he's not." Lucy growled. Elijah held up one finger as if telling them to wait there. He walked outside and came back a minute later with a woman. "Why is she here?" Elijah still remained silent but bit into her neck.

Blood started oozing from the wound, it looked so thick and smooth. Not only did the lust for blood enter Luke's eyes, but also Lucy's. It was like a game and the twins were the contestant. Either way Lucy would lose.

If she cracks she'll kill a person in front of Elijah, an innocent person. If she lets Luke fulfill his needs than Elijah will send him back to Merrowmarsh, or worse. Lucy took a deep breathe and turned around giving away all thoughts about blood.

Only a second and a half later she heard the woman scream in pain. Lucy really hoped it was Elijah that was draining her if blood, but she knew it wasn't. "Lucia, look at him." Elijah said.

He was trying to make her feel guilty. She had to, it was the sire bond he had on her.

Lucy turned and saw Luke devouring the woman. "You think he's ready be let out to the public?" Elijah fumed. Lucy shook her head no. "I could kill him but that would be too easy. You and I will take him back to the crypt so he starve for the rest of his life." That's worse than death in Lucy's opinion.

What would have happened if she was the one who killed the woman? Probably something worse than death and starvation.
