Zander was calm when he saw me with Apollo, but his eyes are cold. "Could you not get in the way."

Napasinghap ako nang humakbang si Apollo palayo sa elevator door. Nakayakap kami sa isa't-isa kaya nasama ako. He held the back of my head and bury it softly to his chest.

"I'm sorry, we're just having a moment." Apollo said.

"Oh, my my. Is she your girl, Apollo?" Her voice was like an angle. Soft and sweet.

"He wish." Napakislot ako sa lamig ng boses ni Zander.

"Aren't you gonna introduce us?" She asked. Humigpit ang yakap ko kay Apollo. Nararamdaman ko ang init ng kanilang tingin sa aking likod.

"Should I, Zander?"

"Why do you need Zander's approval?" May pagtataka sa boses nito.

"Rosie, we have to go." Aya ni Zander.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Zander. Staying there might hurt your wife."

Wife. Tama ba ang pagkakarinig ko? She called me Zander's wife. She acknowledged me.

"It's okay. She moved out."

"Did she? Or you kicked her out?" She asked. I though Roselyn was just a heartless bitch. Pero sa mga naririnig ko sa kanya, she knows to be considerate.

Humigpit ang yakap sa akin ni Apollo. "Excuse me. Why don't you continue your conversation somewhere else?"

"Oops. I'm sorry, Apollo. Let's hang out next time." Paalam nito. Narinig ko ang mga yabag nila papalayo hanggang sa marinig ko ang pagsara ng pinto.

Nananakit na rin ang aking lalamunan sa pagpigil ng iyak. "Small world. She also stays here, Apollo."

I heard Apollo 'tsk'ed and pushed me a little. She held my arm and our forehead touched. "Please, don't cry while I'm gone."

"I won't. I'm okay." I said softly.

Hindi ito pumasok sa elevator, bagkus ay inihatid niya ako sa unit at inalalayan ako hanggang sa makahiga sa aking kama. He kissed my forehead before tucking me in.

"Call me if you need me, okay?"

I just nodded and closed my eyes. I shifted my position when Apollo left. Hindi ko maramdaman ang antok at tumulala na lamang sa malaking bintana ng aking kuwarto.

My phone vibrated and I saw Zander's name on the screen. He is calling. I sighed and turned off my phone. I've had enough. This is going nowhere, I should put my defenses up again.

Kinabukasan ay maaga akong nagising. Ilang minuto akong nakahiga kahit na gising na gising na ang aking diwa. Parang wala akong gana na gumawa ng kahit ano.

'I'm sorry, Tallia. Please come back. I'm missing you.' Her message says.

Hindi ko ito ni-replyan. Parehas sila ng anak niya na hindi ko maintindihan. One day, they want me out. Then, they want me to stay. Maybe this is for the best, ang lumayo ako sa pamilya nila.

Bumangon na ako at nag-ayos ng sarili. Maybe a good run will clean my mind. May jogging path naman within the building and maaga kaya wala masyadong tao. I tied my hair and put my airpods on my ear.
