Nakarating kami sa bahay at hindi kami sinalubong ni Mama. Maybe because she was out with her friends again and I hope she brought the nurse with her. Matigas kasi ang ulo nito minsan.

Naglakad ako papauntang kusina at nakita si Aling Tina na nag-aayos ng mga pinggan. "Aling Tina, sinama ba ni Mama ang nurse niya?"

"Ay hindi, Tallia. Pinauwi niya dahil makakaistorbo raw ito sa lakad niya." Saad nito.

"They call you by your first name?" Napalingon ako kay Zander. Nakatayo ito sa likuran ko at nilalaro ang susi ng sasakyan sa kanyang kamay.

"Yes. Walang mali roon."

"You're my wife. You're a Sandoval. That's not the right way to address her employer."

"Zander, she was with us since we're a child. I've been in her care for years and she's part of my family." Sermon ko sa kanya. "And family doesn't need honorific when calling each other. Do you understand, big guy?"

"You're an angel."

"What? Ngayon mo lang napansin?" Inirapan ko ito.

"Take a bath. You smell funny."

Inamoy ko ang aking sarili at nagtatakang tumingin sa kanya. "This is Versace."

"That's not what I'm talking about. Keep that jerk's stench out of your body and burn that skirt. I don't want to see that ever again." Seryosong sabi nito habang niluluwagan ang neck tie. He undo the top button of his shirt.

"But I made the five investor signed the contract with us. I even convinced them to send some or our employees to overseas to train them."

Kumunot ang noo nito. "Excuse me. What is the connection of what I'm asking you to do to your accomplishments?"

"Let's just say, this skirt has a major contribution to those."

Napahilamos ito sa kanyang mukha. "Don't make me take it off you. You won't like what I'm gonna do next."

Pinadyak ko ang aking mga paa at umakyat sa hagdan. "I hate you."

"Feeling's mutual, wife. After you took a bath, let's talk. I want your opinion about something."

"Is it about your life? How about end it?" Saad ko at padabog na sinara ang pinto ng aking kwarto.

Sinunod ko ang utos nitong maligo. Nilagay ko ang aking pinaghubaran sa laundry basket. Damn, I'm gonna miss that magic skirt. But it's alright, once he's gone, I'm gonna wear it again.

Pagkatapos kong magbihis at magpatuyo ng buhok ay bumaba na ako. Naabutan ko si Zander na tumitipa sa kanyang cellphone. He looks pissed.

Nakapagpalit na rin ito ng mas kumportableng kasuotan. Simula n'ung dumating ito ay bibihira ko lang siyang makita na nasa bahay. Kung magtatagpo man ang landas namin ay madalas pa iting nakasinghal sa akin.

Umupo ako sa one-sitter sofa. Tumingin ito sa akin at kumunot ang noo. "You're too far. Sit beside me."

"Yes, master." Irita kong sabi at tumayo para tumabi sa kanya.

His smile were playful. "Master. I like the sound of that. It has different meaning when you're using it in bed."

"Ew. Manyak." Pang-aasar ko. Binalak kong bumalik sa dati kong inuupuan ngunit hinawakan niya ako sa aking bewang at inupo sa pagitan ng kanyang hita.

"Flowers scent suits you best." Nagsitaasan ang aking balahibo nang dumampi ang mainit niting hininga sa aking leeg.

"You sound like a girl." Tukso ko.

He chuckled and pressed me on him. "I'm not. The proof lies between my legs."

Namula ako. "Sabi mo ay may pag-uusapan tayo? Paano tayo mag-uusap if you're facing my back?"

"I just want to ask if what movie do you prefer? Thriller? Horror? Psychological?"

Humarap ako sa kanya. Pinilit kong hindi tumingin sa mapu-pula nitong labi. "Are you serious? Nakakatakot na palabas lang?"

"Yes. So you could cling to me if you're scared."

I sighed. "I think I can handle any movie you throw me. But first thing, can I not sit here? It's uncomfortable."

"Why? It's the best sit in the house." Mas humigpit ang braso nito sa aking bewang.

"Nah. I don't think so. I feel like I'm being crushed by a snake." Masungit kong sabi.

"A hot snake."

Kinurot ko ang braso nito at humiyaw siya sa sakit. Nang makawala ay agad kong binagsak ang sarili sa gilid nito at yumakap ng throw pillow.

"Don't be so clingy. Sisipain kita." Banta ko. "Mamili ka na ng movie bago ka samain sa akin."

Ngumiti ito sa akin. "I feel like I got closer to you, wife."

My heart flutters whenever he calls me wife. "Yeah? I hope I don't regret it, snake."

Nakapamili na ito ng movie at nagsimula na kaming manuod. I'm not really bothered with all the bloods and cannibalism. What bothers me is, Zander were lying on my lap while I'm feeding him chips.

"I have to prepare for dinner. Could you raise your head for a while?" I requested.

"The movie is not yet done. Where do you think you're going?"

"Magugutom tayong dalawa. I have to prepare the dinner."

"Nasaan si Aling Tina? Bakit hindi nalang siya?"

"You gold spooned boy, Aling Tina is an on-call housekeeper. Hanggang 5PM lang siya dito sa bahay. I always prepare our dinner except if I'm having an overtime."

"Don't bother. Magpa-deliver nalang tayo. Are you not enjoying the movie?"

"With all that carcass cutting and painful operations? I quite enjoyed it. I gained some good ideas that can be done to someone I know." I said, referring to him.

"Apollo would scream in the single poke of the needle, sweetheart." He said.

Napahilamos na lamang ako sa aking mukha at hindi na kumilos sa kinauupuan ko. I played with his hair while watching the movie.

Tumayo ito nang dumating na yung order naming pizza at kinain iyon habang nanunuod. Pagkatapos niyon ay nilinis ko ang pinggan na ginamit namin at bumalik sa living room para ituloy ang panunuod.

I din't know if he is conscious of what he's doing pero kanina pa nito nilalaro ang kamay ko ngunit hinahayaan ko lang siya. It was kinda comforting.

My eyelids started to close and I placed the back of my head at the top of the sofa.

I felt like I'm on a swing and placed on the soft and smooth sheets. "Tallia, let's do this again. It was fun."

"Hmm. Okay." I moaned, eyes were still closed.

"Are you half asleep or awake?"

"Hmm. Okay." I moaned my answer.

"This is so cute." He commented. "Sleep tight, love."

"You too.... love...."
