Fiona's POV
"Marshall, please say something." I whispered, staring at the thoughtful looking Marshall, he was off in his own world.
I could feel his eyes burning into me as I lifted my head.
"His circumstances -" I began but stopped abruptly as Marshall floated away,
"See you later, Fionna." He muttered.
Fionna
He only called me that when he was angry or upset with me.
I watched as Marshall left the scene and then slowly stood up and walked in the opposite direction to Cake and I's house.
I walked in to find a note from beautifully hand written note from Cake taped to the door.

If your reading this I'm not home, but there's some spaghetti in the fridge if you want to heat it up. BMAs there so you shouldn't get lonely. I should be home by seven but if I'm not home before eight I won't be home tonight, so If you need me I'll be at Lord Monos

I sighed and walked upstairs, falling asleep in my adventuring outfit.

I woke up with a startle, someone was standing over me.
Or to be correct, floating.
"Marshall!" I grinned, he'd obviously forgotten about out disagreement earlier.
"Hey Fi." He chuckled, smirking. I looked up at him and gave a slight smile.
"I was thinking..." He began
"About?" I said climbing out of my sleeping bag and swinging my legs over the bed.
"The whole.. Gumwad thing.." He frowned
"No I'm-" I interrupted only to be interrupted
"Fi let me finish!" He paused, staring at me.
I quickly shut up and gestured for him to continue.
"We'll its only a title.." He smirked "so you could still belong to me." He winked
"You make me sound like an object!" I laughed slightly.
He just winked at me.
"What time is it?" I yawned, changing the subject
"Two o'clock."
"What!" I gasped "AM or PM?"
"Afternoon?"
"I slept for like over half a day!" I stated wide eyed.
"Erm I guess?" He chuckled
"We'll let's to to the candy kingdom?" I smiled
Marshall nodded slightly annoyed at the mention of the candy kingdom, but lifted me up bridal style and flying me out the window in the direction of the candy kingdom. My grip tightened slightly when he flew up higher.
"How aren't you burning?" I said amazed
"Oh, a spell.." He chuckled
I just smiled into his chest
"I love you Fi.." Marshall whispered
I waited a minute before replying, did I love him?
Yes.
"I love you too." My smile grew as I cuddled into his chest
