After completing the mission with Nazar and Kaya we returned home. I was reading a book in my apartment. I put it down and sighed in defeat. I couldn't concentrate on anything that empty feeling that came with missing my mother came back, but way worse than ever before. I don't understand why this suddenly started. She's been dead for years and yet this has only started recently. I rolled over in my bed curling into a balled position and letting my hair drape over my face lazily. Am I feeling guilty for getting a new family?

suddenly I heard someone knock at my door. I rolled off my bed and went to answer to see Lyon there with a smile.

"Good Morning (y/n)." he greeted.

I couldn't help but smile. "Morning."

"I was wondering if you would like to go on a date?" He asked with a mischievous gleam in his eyes.

"That depends, what exactly are you up to?" I asked skeptically, leaning on the doorframe.

"Nothing. I just want to take my girlfriend out on a date." He shrugged.

"Hm?" I raised an eyebrow. I could use a distraction right now. Maybe it'll help... "Then yes I'll go."

"Great." His smile widened. "It's an honour madam." He stuck out his elbow to me.

I laughed and hooked my arm into it. "You're such a dork." I locked the door and we were off. "So where are we going?" I asked.

"To lunch and then I was thinking about taking a walk. Too simple?" He questioned.

"No I don't mind simple. Not when I'm with you." I replied.

"Do you understand that every time you say something like that it drives me insane?" He sighed.

"Good then I'm doing my job well." I held my head up proudly.

We eventually got to the small little restaurant and were seated to eat lunch. We chatted away nonchalantly like the other customers around us.

"Mommy can we go see the fairy tail guild hall?" A little girl at the table in front of us asked.

"Yeah I wanna be a fairy tail wizard when I grow up! They're the coolest." What I could only assume was her little brother added.

"Alright." Their mother smiled kindly and stood up.

"Yay!" The two kids said in union standing up, skipping past us, and out the door. The mother following close behind.

I couldn't help but smile at the cute scene. I rested my chin in the palm of my hand as I watched them go. My smile flattened when I once again started to miss my mother. I tried to find a subject to distract me. "Do you want kids?"

Lyon, who was mid drink, chocked in surprise by my sudden question.

I suddenly realized how much more non-casual that question is in this situation and got flustered. "I-I mean um... You don't have to answer tha-"

"Yes." He cut me off mid ramble. He buried his flushed face into his menu. "I mean I wouldn't mind having kids."

"Oh... Um cool." I replied nervously twisting my napkin in my hand and looking down at my lap.

Luckily after our food arrived we were able to go back to casual conversation...

After lunch we had gone on a walk. We weren't going anywhere in particular just walking together hand in hand. We stopped in a little forgotten corner of magnolia.

There was a small well and you could hear the quiet sound of the water shifting around. It mixed with the melody of the birds that sang in the nearby trees. A huge willow tree stretched out creating shade for a bench that was underneath. We sat down there to rest.

"It's really peaceful here." I sighed contently resting my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah I found this place while staying in magnolia a while back. I would sometimes come back to it when I needed a quiet place to think." He explained. Shifting slightly.

"Well I like your secret place." I gave a small laugh.

He shifted again and I couldn't help but wonder if he was uncomfortable. I lifted my head. "Lyon, is everything alright?"

He didn't answer for a few seconds. He then took my hand and stood up taking me with him. "(Y/n) when I first meet you I would have never even imagined this is where we'd end up. Honestly at the time I thought I could never be with such a child."

"Gee thanks..." I pouted but then let him continue.

"But then... Something changed." He went on. "I don't know when or even why exactly, but it did. I found myself falling head over heals for you. That's never really happened to me before, so I was a little scared and kind of denied it for a while. But I do really love you"

"I love you too." I smiled up at him.

"And so... I've thought about it a lot. I know we haven't actually been together for very long, but to me it's felt like a century. A century that's had its ups and downs, but I wouldn't have changed it for anything in the world. S-so I wanted to ask you something." He swallowed his voice seeming to get a bit nervous. He pulled something out of his back pocket. I didn't realize that it was a ring box until he got into one knee and opened it. "(F/n) (l/n) will you marry me?"

I was honestly utterly shocked. I was left speechless all I could do was cover my mouth. I was so filled with so much happiness that words can't even express. I started to feel tears trickle from the corners of my eyes.

"Umm...?" He trailed off questioningly as he stood back up.

"O-OF COURSE I WILL!" I exclaimed jumping onto him engulfing him into a huge hug, almost knocking him down in the process. I couldn't help but let out small sob like laughs as I held him and cried of joy. I felt him return my embrace.

Eventually he put me down, and took my hand sliding the diamond ring onto my finger.

I wiped away some of my tears, and then grabbed his collar pulling him down into a kiss.

He kissed back immediately taking dominance and picking me up by my legs, pinning me to the trunk of the willow tree. Just like the first time we kissed. But this one was better than any of those were before.

Our lips moved together in perfect sync, only ever separating to take short breaths. The taste was sweeter than ever before, and even had the slight taste of salt from my tears. It was perfect that moment was perfect, and I would never forget it for as long as I shall live.

He finally pulled away after what seemed like forever. "You've just made me the happiest man in the whole world."

Hey guys I hope you liked part one!!! Ahh you two are such dorks XD! I'll try to lost part 2 soon and then the epilogue! (Oh no it's almost over!) vote and comment, bye!
