“He was sorted into Gryffindor, Dumbledore wrote me.” Harry said as he loaded his trunk into the overhead of our compartment.

“What’s his name?” I asked.

“Jesse Grim.” Harry said.

I smiled. It was a cute name.

As the train started going we waved to our parents smiling.

I hadn’t told them yet. I couldn’t.

“That’s a nice name.” Ginny said.

She sat beside me with Hermione on my other side.

And Harry and Ron across from us.

When it happened it was like in slow motion.

I looked up and he was walking down the hallway.

He looked into our compartment and gave a nod of his head.

I just glared. As did the rest of us.

He looked at me and I held his gaze.

Every time he took a step he took a piece of my heart with him.

It was horrible. Watching him walk away from me.

But I held my tongue.

Even if I yelled out for him nothing would change.

We’d still be broken up.

I’d still have a heart to repair.

He was finally gone and I turned back to my friends.

I sighed and Ginny patted me on the back and Hermione put her arm around me.

“You’re so strong.” Ginny said.

The train ride seemed impossibly long.

But during the ride Ron told us the story of how since Mad-Eye Moody was still recovering from being trapped in a small trunk for months, we would have a new DADA teacher.

I wondered who it would be.

Unlike Harry that wasn’t one of my favorite subjects.

I enjoy Charms, or Transfiguration, and Potions more.

The train finally stops and we hurry off it and start down the path to the carriages that go by themselves.

Once we found an empty carriage we climbed in.
