Chapter 5

<Mia's POV>

“There na! Stop the car.” I said. He did as I said then binaba niya yung windows to conversate with the guard.

“Hi po ulit kuya! We're here to stay at our house. Sa may Carmen po.” I greeted him. Binati rin ako ni kuya guard tapos pinapasok na kami.

“Mia, why are we even here in the first place?” He asked.

“You'll see. Basta yung pinaka-right ng village nato dun tayo.” I said excitedly. Then maya-maya lang...

“Seryoso ka? Ito?” Bumaba na kami ng car niya then he just stared at the house with his mouth open. 

“Yup! I decided that since beach naman yung pinaka-right side ng village, I chose it here. Nagpabuild ako ng swimming pool then path papuntang beach- which we own privately and may yacht din dun. Mas maganda rin kasi kung glass house. But don't worry, safe yan. I asked for special people to make it safe from any calamities, earthquakes or anything.” I said then he looked at me.

“Okay.” He said with his hands stuffed in the pockets of his coat.

“Nagustuhan mo ba? I know that you wanted to share this with Elaine and not me, but-”

“I said it's just fine Mia. And about what happened awhile ago...I meant that. Alam mo naman na kahit ano pang gawin mo, kahit ano pang mangyari, I will never forget my love for Elaine. I still love her...more than anyone else in my life. I love her so much I would even risk my own life for her if I have a chance. And kung alam mo lang...tama ka. Mas gusto ko at hihilingin ko sa Diyos na sana si Elaine ang kasama ko dito at hindi ikaw na sinira ang relasyon naming dalawa!” Sabi niya sabay walk-out. 

Ouch...

Parang wala na atang mas sasakit pa sa sinabi niya...

With all the pain I'm trying to hide right now, with this sick feeling, I don't know how to react.

Then the dark gray clouds formed above me and it started to rain. I let it wash away my sadness, all my pain- even just for a little bit. Then the lightning and the thunder came but I didn't fear any of those. I stayed in my place and watched the rainfall. I smiled while crying and sobbing at the same time. Then I laughed and played under the rain. Baliw na kung baliw pero sa tuwing umuulan, nagiging masaya ako. Kasi naaalala ko yung mga happy moments naming dalawa ni LJ. 

Kailan kaya siya babalik?

Kailan niya kaya ako magagawang mahalin?

Puno na ng putik yung gown ko at basang-basa na rin ako. 

Para ka talagang bata Mia...

Hayyy....

I looked up and accidentally met his eyes from the glass walls. He looked shocked and stopped from loosing his tie. I sent him a very warm smile, the one that I always show him when we were still kids. I saw him grab the comforter that was sitting in the couch and sprint out of the living room. 

Naglaro nalang ulit ako nang may tumawag saken.

“Mia!” I turned my attention towards the man I love. I pictured him smiling at me and I saw ourselves playing under the rain back then. Suddenly, I realized, that my vision's starting to become blurry and after a few seconds, everything went pitch black.
