Caroline's POV
I was walking around the streets and suddenly a tall middle-aged man with blonde dark hair and blue eyes showed me a drawing of Niklaus.
"My apologies but this is important. Did you know who is this man? Did you saw him?"
"No, not that I remember. I'm sorry not being helpful." I said and trying my best to not show that I was lying or that I was with fear because Niklaus told me about Mikael and just for what he told me, I feared him. Mikael was and is a monster, even when he was human he was a monster.
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. But the best of luck in finding him" I said with a small smile and started to walk.
After I gave many turns and walk in different streets, just to be sure that if he would go after me, he would lost me, I went to Nik's mansion and knocked on the door quickly until he opened the door because I had to warn him.
"Love, are you alright? It seemed that you saw a gosh."
"Not quite." I said as I got into the mansion and he closed the door. "Nik, it's time to say goodbye. He is here looking for you."
"Are you sure it's him? Love, you never saw him."
"Yes, but for what you told me, it seemed to be Mikael and besides, he was walking around with a drawing of you and asking people if they knew you or saw you." I said and saw Niklaus starting to be scared, something that I never had seen in him.
"Alright. I have to warn my sister and leave. Caroline you are going to pack your bags too."
"I'm just going to slow you down."
"I'm not going anywhere without you, my sister or Stefan. You are my family and I need you by my side" He said.
"Always..." I said with a small smile and grab his hand, squeezing a little to make him see that he will always have me.
"and Forever." He said making me smile, then I felt his lips crashing against mine, I kissed him back but then broke the kiss because I didn't want to ruin our friendship.
"I'm sorry, love. I don't know what got into me."
"It's alright. We just had a moment of weakness. There's no reason to ruin our friendship over a kiss." I said more to myself.
"You're right. Well, I'm going to Stefan's apartment to go tell everything to Rebekah and Stefan and you can go pack some essentials that you might need."
"Alright, see you in a couple of hours." I said and walked over the door, and before open it, I turned to see Nik and hugged him tightly.
"Be careful." I whispered to his ear and when I was broking the hug, I couldn't help myself and kissed him.
He kissed me back and pushed me against the wall, I put my legs around his waist and kissed him with passion and desire. But I had to stop this for how much good it felt. He started to let a trail of kisses to my neck, hitting my sweet spot and I knew that I couldn't control my attraction for him anymore.
"Nik..." I moaned, then he kissed me again and before we could go further, I put my feet again on the floor and looked at him with lust. I wanted him... badly.
"I better go."
"Caroline, I..."
"Don't worry. Nothing happened." I said and went to my apartment because I was sure he was going to feel guilty for making me think that he wanted something more than a friendships and I just knew it couldn't be true because he is Niklaus Mikaelson, an Original and the most powerful creature, and I'm Caroline Forbes, just a mere baby vampire.
