My Dearest Brennan

CH 7--- Who's getting married?!

Annie's POV

I woke up with Caleb and Katie beside me, both snoring. I look over at Brennan who was on his phone, viewing his convo with Melissa. He didn't seem to notice me though

"Aren't you gonna reply?" I ask Brennan causing him to turn his heads towards me

"Umm, I don't know" He says putting his phone done

"Why don't you know?" I ask trying to be polite

"I'm very confused, Annie" Brennan explains

I nod my head signaling him to continue

"You see, I lik- I love this girl. But she doesn't love me back and I am just so tired of trying to get her attention. But then I look at myself and realize why she never likes me. I'm a mess Julianna! Look at me! I'm just this piece of shit nobody ever wants" Brennan says getting very emotional

I run over to him and hug him tightly

"Hey, it's okay"

"No it's not" Brennan says hugging me back

"Brennan, any girl out there would be lucky enough to have you. I mean look at you! You're an amazing person and extremely attractive. Gosh, if I wasn't dating anybody, I'd totally ask you out!"

Oh shit.

"What?" Brennan says pulling away

"I said you should ask Melissa out" I say trying to hide my embarrassment

"How'd you know her name?" Brennan asks suspiciously

"Well, I uhh--" I say getting nervous

"You didn't?" Brennan says narrowing his eyebrows playfully

"I'm sorr--"

Brennan then tackled me to the ground and tickled me

"Stopp" I say laughing

"You little potato!" Brennan jokes while tickling me

"Stop! No!" I say trying to catch my breath

"Will you two stop?! I'm trying to get my beauty sleep here" Caleb says sternly

But it just made us laugh more and it caused both Caleb and Katie to wake up, annoyed at us

"Kids! Breakfast is ready!" Mom yells from upstairs

I point at the stairs and act all innocent

"Yeah, okay" Katie says getting up

I look at Brennan and gave him a smile. A friendly one perhaps.

Ms Katie's POV

So something came in the mail today and I have been waiting to tell everyone about this so I decided I would tell them while we all eat Breakfast

"So may I have everyone's attention please?" I say

They all look at me as they all went silent, waiting for me to talk

"Okay, something came in the mail today and I have been waiting to tell you this ever since I've seen it" I add

"What is it?!" Annie asks excitedly

I slowly grabbed the invitation from the counter and waved it

"Guess who's getting married?" I say wiggling my eyebrows

"No way!" They all said

"Paige is getting married?!" Katie says as her eyes widen

"Uh huh!" I reply
