Brennan's POV
It's been a week since school started. Same old boring schedule. Well at least Lauren texts me. I'm definitely a loner right now. Caleb's in baseball, Katie's doing gymnastics and God knows what Annie is doing! I remember I have soccer practice so I rushed to the field
"Donnelly!" My friend Shawn says
"Hey" I reply
"So did coach tell you already?" Shawn asks me
"Tell me what?" I ask
"We have a game in two weeks, so obviously, we have to work extra hard" Shawn says with a sigh
I just sigh there thinking of how I should balance my time. I have school, soccer and I have Lauren who keeps bugging me but she's basically the only reason I'm not a total loner. She always travels a lot so we don't even have time together, alone.

I'm finally done with practice and now Shawn and I are going to get some Froyo (frozen yogurt)
Jake's POV
So I just got done with practice and I decided to call Annie

J- Jake A-Annie
J-Hey Annie! Are you busy right now?
A-Hi, I just finished cleaning the whole basement and I'm basically just watching TV at the moment
J- Want to get some Froyo?
A- Sure, what time?
J- I'll pick you up in 15 minutes?
A- Ok, I'll go get changed
J- Ok see ya!
A- Bye

Annie's POV
I quickly get ready for the "date". Wait, is it actually a date? I mean we're just getting Froyo, together,alone. I began to get more confused and my mind was debating whether it's a date or not. I changed into my fancy clothes, did my makeup and put my hair in a messy bun. Then, I went downstairs where my mom was watching TV.
"Where are you going, young lady" Mom questions me looking at me while folding her arms
"Can I go get some froyo?" I plead
"Ok, but who are you going" My mom asks me
"Jake" I say with a smile
Just then the doorbell rings
"K, gotta go mom, love you!" I wave goodbye
"Bye, love you too. And Annie," Mom stops me before coming out the door
"Huh?" I ask
"Just so you know, you can date now" My mom says giggling
I just looked at her awkwardly
"Ok... thanks, bye!" I say shutting the door behind me
Jake's POV
"Hi" Jake greets me with a hug
"Hey" I laugh
"Sorry about my sweatiness. I had soccer practice" I apologize
