My Dearest Brennan

CH 10--- Playdate

 Brennan's POV

So I guess it's official. I like Melissa. She's really pretty and she does care for me unlike other girls there.

(Brennan throwin' shade though)

Well I'm thinking on asking her out but I don't know how to do it yet. Katie is at gymnastics and Caleb has baseball. I don't think I can ask Shawn about this because then, he would just tease me and make me feel guilty. Well the truth is, I want Annie to help me. I then start  to think, maybe I can call her and ask her if she wants to hang out so I can ask about what girls like. Pretty genius, right?

*Grabs phone and calls Annie*

I wait for about 7 seconds then finally, someone picks up

"Hello?" Annie answers

"Annie! I need your help! Please come right now!" I say dramatically

"What?! Are you okay?!" She asks nervously

"Just come! Right now!" I say  ending the call

I sighed and laid on the couch, waiting for Annie to come.

*same time POV* (never done this before)

Annie's POV

What is wrong with me?! All I ever think of is Brennan. I don't know why this happening. I haven't eaten anything yet but it's okay. He defended me and he was there to help me. It's just I hope I don't fall in love with him. It's gonna be tough seeing him everyday without staring. I sigh and belly flop on my bed. I sigh and closed my eyes. Suddenly, my phone rings. I pick it up and see "Brennan". I immediately answered. He said he needed help. I started freaking out. So as soon he ended the call, I quickly call dad to pick me up and send me to the Donnelly's house. Dad had to go somewhere so he's just gonna drop me off

Brennan's POV

I was relaxing when I heard foot steps on our front porch. I narrow my eyebrows then suddenly, Annie comes barging in.

"Brennan! Are you okay?!" She says hugging me

"Umm, yeah. Why are you so concerned?" I chuckle

She then lets go and exhales heavily. Her face was filled with anger and she started giving me these creepy look.

"You said you needed help!" She says with annoyance

"Yeah, I do" I laugh

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" She says punching my arm

"About that. Well sit down. I want to tell this to you first" I say patting the extra space on the couch.

She sits down and rolls her eyes which made giggle a little.

"Alright, what do you want to tell me?" She says in a calm tone

"Well Annie" I say holding her hand

Annie's POV

Brennan starts talking, he grabs my hand and starts rubbing his thumb in a circular motion

(LMAO just go with it)

I suddenly felt so nervous and it felt like I had butterflies in my stomach. Brennan! Why do you do this to me?! I sigh
