London Meyers walked down the block in the cold November wind. This was perfect, right? Queue the sarcasm. It was horrid. It was cold and all she had on was her work attire with a thin cotton jacket over. After working a four hour shift after school on a simple Friday, she just wanted to get home and sleep. But she had homework and more work tomorrow morning. Her life was far from perfect at the moment but she did have some people that made it more bearable.

London could see the bus bench up ahead and hastened to it with her head down. The wind was really picking up though, causing her hair to fly away and almost mask her entire face. And then, Bam! She hit a fateful telephone pole. When she looked up, she could see a car for sale—cheep. She blinked, knowing that she needed it. Standing, she ripped off one of the tabs that gave a simple e-mail address on it and stuffed it in her pocket. Then, she went to the bus.

Who knew that the car for sale was owned by a jerk? Negotiating with him is going to prove difficult with his painfully simple answers and quipie comebacks. Can she get the car without killing him? And how would she hide the body if he forced that outcome? It’s proving quite hard to keep calm and to continue writing.

There are only two things that both London and Anthony find to be true durring this experience. Something’s are lost in translation over the internet while confidence is found.

. . .
