Chapter 7 Questions and Answers

Emily's P.O.V
I woke up the next morning and saw that I had a missed call from Sasha's dad. I called him back and he answered on the third ring.
"Hello?" He said
"Hi it's Emily, you called?"
"Yes I have great news" he said happily
"What?" I asked
"Sasha came home last night! He said happily
"Really?!" I was so worried" I said excitedly
"Can you come over later?" He asked
"Sure I'll be there in an hour" I replied
"Thank you" he said
"No problem bye"
"Bye" he said.
I hung up and got ready, bringing extra clothes in case I need to shift. I checked the time. 11:50am. I put the clothes in my bag and walked to Sasha's house. I live in a pack house like Quinn. My pack is Called the blue moon pack. I began thinking about random things like ideas for paintings. I found myself standing in front of Sasha's house. I knocked on the door and Sasha answered immediately. "Sasha!" I said, tears rolling down my face.
"Hey Em" she replied
"I was so worried bout you, I'm sorry I couldn't tell you..." I said awkwardly.
"It's okay" Sasha replied
"thanks" I replied.
She nodded and we walked inside, Quinn and Tom all ready here. We sat down and Sasha's dad spoke up.
"What do you want to know?" He asked Sasha
"everything" she replied.

Sasha's P.O.V
"Everything" I replied.
"Okay" dad said
"oh! Can I explain how mates work?" Emily asked
"sure" dad replied "can I tell her about her wolf?" Quinn asked
"I guess" dad replied.
"Okay so I'm going to tell you about packs, rogues, powers and your first shift." Dad said
"okay" I replied
"well werewolves live in packs, our pack is called the falling dawn pack and some packs have enemy packs, our pack does. Their name is the Silent Eye Pack" he explained
"okay I'm with you so far" I said
"good. Now as I was saying, theirs an alpha, which is me, a Luna, that's your mom, a beta, a delta and an omega, they lead the pack." He said
"what's the difference?" I asked
"the alpha is the leader, the Luna is the alpha female, the beta is the second in command, the delta is the third in command and the omega is the lowest rank" he answered
"okay." I replied
"packs live in big houses together but not everyone in the pack lives in it." He replied
"are we going to move into our pack house?'' I asked
"if you want to" dad said
"I do" I replied
"I'll talk to  mom about it" he said
"okay" I replied.
"Rogues are lone wolves who are bad. If you see or smell them. run." He said
"what do they smell like?" I asked
"garbage" he said
"okay" I replied
"now powers are simple. Your 5 senses will increase and you have super speed and strength" he said
"cool" I replied.
"And finally first shift. In 1 year you will shift into your wolf for the first time" he said.
"Ok" I said.

Quinn's P.O.V
"You normally connect with your wolf about 1 year before your first shift so you should connect soon." I explained
"okay" she replied
"You and your wolf are one. Your wolf can take control of you and you can speak to her in your mind." I explained
"cool" she replied.

Tom's P.O.V
"Can I tell her about mind links?" I asked
"sure" her dad said
"thanks" I replied. I turned to Sasha
"packs can communicate through their minds. It's called a mind link you can extend the link to other packs too and you also have a mind link with your mate." I explained "
okay" she said.

Emily's P.O.V
"Mates are a little complicated. They are like your soul mate, your other half. I just found my mate" I said
"who's your mate?" She asked
"Nathan" I replied happily
"congrats!" She said, hugging me.
"Thanks" I said
"no problem." She said.

Sasha's P.O.V
I let all of the information sink in. I let out a small sigh and got up. "Wanna go for a walk?" I asked my friends
"sure" they replied
"Is that okay dad?" I asked
"it's fine, just be home before dark"
"okay thanks" I replied. We walked outside and began walking towards the woods behind my house.
"Wanna run?" I asked
"okay" they said.
We all took off running through the forest. This was really fun, running at werewolf speed. I looked at Emily who then shifted into a white wolf with blue eyes. Quinn then shifted into a black wolf with creepy red eyes. Tom then shifted to his black wolf with teal eyes. Tom stopped and motioned for me to climb on. I hopped on his back and we took off again. We ran for a while before we stopped for a break. Emily, Tom and Quinn picked up their bags in their mouths and went behind some trees. They came back in human form holding empty bags.
"Why do you guys hide to shift?" I asked
"2 reasons. 1, so humans don't see us and 2, our clothes rip when we shift" Quinn explained.
"Oh." I said
"we should get back" Emily said.
"Okay" we said.
We walked back to my house and then they walked back to their pack houses. I walked inside and watched tv for a bit. I got up and went to bed. I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about my wolf. Will she be nice? Will we get along? Questions like that ran through my head before I took out my phone and started to listen to pity party. Soon I got tired and let sleep take over.
