The weekend was over sadly. Back to the boring life again. To catch you up on some stuff, Sophie hung out with Paige yesterday which was Sunday. Obviously I don't trust Paige but I'm not going to sit there and rule Sophie's life. It's her life and she can do what she wants.
I went to my locker and got my things out, my hair was still soaked from the shower, I couldn't blow dry it or I would've been late to school.
When I shut my locker I rested my head against it. Im so exhausted. I really need to stop staying up so late bindge watching all my favorite shows and movies.. And thinking about Sophie.
Ugggghh fuck it, I was up all night thinking about her.
"You okay?" I heard, I looked over to see who it was, Mel? I haven't talked to her for months, what the hell?
"Why do you care?" I asked with an eye roll.
"I hate to see you saaadd" she pounted jokingly, but wasn't funny.
"I hate to see you.. In general" I say
"Love my haters" she laughs and hugs me, I try to hide my smile, and it works.
"But for real though?"
"... Just some stuff, couldn't sleep, life, school, tired, and now you"
"Hm, what about Sophie" she asks
"I don't know, probably in her own little world"
She shakes her head 'yes' but something wasn't right. I squint my eyes at her a bit, questions. Then she shakes her head 'no'
"What's wrong with you" I ask
"Heyy" I look over to see Sophie, her blue eyes were tired and under were light bags but were noticeable. She pulls me into a hug and kisses my neck, I look at Mel and she looks down. "Hey you okay babe?" She asks
"Um.. Yeah... I'm good. You?"
"Yes love, we should get to class, don't wanna be late" she smiles, fake.
What's going the fuck on?
"You should go, I'm going to get my stuff" I lie. She gives this odd look then nods in agreement and walks away. "What the fuck is going on Mel?" I ask
"I can't say" she says
"Melody, please tell me" I beg
She looks at me sadly "it might be something you don't want to hear, Alice"
What do I not want to hear....?
