Natsu enters the medical room but I hang back a bit, knowing what is inside.
I decide to go in anyways, but as soon as I am inside, the sight I see makes me wish I had stayed outside..
A little blue haired girl is crying next to the bed; gajeel is sitting on a chair holding his hand, his face is pale and he's shaking slightly. Levy is desperately flicking through some ancient looking books with Mrs polyursica. Lucy is stroking his hair gently whispering soothingly to him.
But rogue... he has a slow trickle of blood coming from his mouth, making his already pale face look paler still. His eyes look sunken into his skull, his cheekbones prominent. I look at his hands, and they are almost skeloton-looking. His eyes are staring into the distance, devoid of any colour.
I walk over to him, staring into his eyes. I place a hand onto his chest cautiously, feeling his faint heartbeat; and his eyelids flicker suddenly with his souless eyes meeting mine.
They flicker red. Just for a second.
Just enough time for his bony hands to clasp around my throat.
