       Chapter 20-Oct 16, 2013 Wednesday Noon

       I waited in line with my hungry classmates. Today’s special was meatloaf, but no one could be totally sure. Finally I reached the trays and placed one on my lap; then I only placed it on the metal bars for the lunch ladies to put food on.

       After I had paid, I rolled over to where Leana sat with several of our friends. I pulled in beside her and put my tray on the table before greeting, “Hey guys.”

       “Hey Sam. How you doing?” Jack asked before smoothing back his red hair.

       “I’m alright,” I muttered between bites; then I noticed Tatsha, carrying around a tray and looking for a table. “Tatsha over here!” I called, waving her over.

       Tatsha quickly navigated over and sat between Jack and me. “Hello,” she said as she carefully put the tray down. “Did you hear about the new boy?”

       “No…Is he cute?” Leana inquired before the black-hair boy slapped her arm. “Dimitri, I was thinking for Sam,” she giggled as she looked into his blue eyes.

       “Yes…There he is,” Tatsha answered as she pointed to the boy walking toward James’ table.

       “Well, if he is hanging there; then you are too good for him,” Jack commented as he stared at me with blue eyes.

       “Thanks Jack…but I already know him…That’s Brian…The Karate Dojo transfer…” I mentioned as I watched Brian sit beside my ex. “You’re right. I deserve better…”
