Chapter 25

Rae's POV

It's a typical Thursday morning. As usual, I left alone here in the condo. Same routines, same sweet husband, more happy feelings in 3 days just passed. I cleaned our house, mas gusto ko kasi ako ang gumagawa ng mga ganitong bagay kahit ayaw ni Kurt. Para naman asawang asawa lang ang peg at siymepre para ma proud naman si Kurt that I'm doing productive things everyday. Hindi yung puro hilata nalang.

The telephone rang kaya nagmadali akong tumayo at sinagot.

"Hello nak? si Mama Karla ito."

"Hello po Ma, bakit?"

"Birthday na ni Kurt bukas. Do you have plans na ba?"

Oo nga pala, I'm aware of his birthdate. Ikaw ba naman stalk ng stalk dati, tignan lang natin kung di mo malalaman, pero 'tong asawa ko naman hindi man lang nagsasabi. Partying is not his thing talaga. "Nope, we haven't plan anything Ma, bakit po?"

"Perfect! We will surprise him. Mag papa party tayo."

"Pero .. diba po kulang na sa oras? Bukas na po eh."

"Don't worry Ija, everything is set. You don't have to worry. All you have to do is you both go here by 6 or 7PM. It's just a normal party so you can wear a dress. Dinner will be served at 8PM sharp."

"You're the super mom Ma." I chuckled. "Okay po. I'll see you tomorrow night. Please send my kisses to Elaine Ma, I miss her, and ofcourse kayo din po lahat diyan."

"She misses you too. Sige, Ingat kayo lagi ha? I need to go, may mga maliliit pa kasi na bagay ang medyo kailangan asikasuhin para bukas."

"Sige po, kayo din po."

She hang up at mabilis akong pumasok sa kwarto ko dati, Kurt is too busy kasi kaya hindi pa namin nalilipat yung ibang bagay ko sa kwarto niya. He don't want me to carry heavy stuffs.

I open my closet and look for a perfect dress, may iba pa naman akong damit na hindi pa nasusuot but .. There's no dress na mag pe-perfect sa event bukas. 

I quickly dialled Joanne's number ... but she's not answering.

I've also tried to call Ces and she's not answering also. Oh my!! I think I'm handling the most heavy problem on earth. I don't have a choice but to call Kurt. Hahanap nalang siguro ako convincing na reason para payagan niya akong pumunta sa Mall ng mag isa.

"Hi." I greeted nervously.

"Baby, yes what?"

"Are you with yourself now?"

"Yes, I do. Why?"
