Chapter 3: The Trip

Here you go. Kylie gets some exciting news!

Three weeks later, I'm sitting in George's office waiting for him to come back to tell me some exciting news. He told me because I'm such a great employee that I'm getting a paid trip during their time off. I mean helllooo do they not remember that I'm supporting my sister and niece along with trying to keep me fed? I'm just hoping it will be something I can save or transfer to another name. Maybe I can sell it,that way I don't have to start that crappy job I found for the next 6 weeks! George rushes into his office all smiles and acting like he just won the lottery! He sits down then squeaks with excitement. O.M.G.. he just sounded like a girl! "Kylie I have been waiting so long to tell you about this trip! You work so hard for us and make our jobs so much easier that we wanted to do something extra-ordinary for you." I stop myself from rolling my eyes and said, "ok ok just out with it cause you are getting me a little scared with all that jumping up and down in your chair. You sure you having started taking drugs? Cause your acting pretty high right now." He busts out laughing, I mean tears are rolling down his eyes. I finally roll my eyes at him now which seems to only encourage him more. I sit back and put my hands on my chest and give him one of my (I'm gonna put salt in your coffee the next time you want some) looks. He immediately straightens up and said, " Oh Ky I'm going to miss you while your gone. You always make me laugh so hard." I glare at him a little more. " ok I'll stop. So,all of us put together the package deal for you. And we also know that you are helping with your sister so that's why we worked it out so that she would be at her in-laws while you go. You won't have to worry about her. Her bills & your bills are paid up for the next two months." I am sitting there with my jaw on the floor. George smirks then continues, "yes, so you have no excuse to not take this trip. Sarah worked with us to help us figure out what would be your ultimate dream vacation. So,can you guess where you are going for the next 5 weeks?". I am trying my best to stop shaking and working hard on getting my jaw off the floor and nervously whisper,"Terinian?" He smiles real big and states that Sarah must know you well. She said that it was your dream to go there one day. I get a little light headed and shakily giggle, "well yeah since I was like 5! Are you telling me that I get to go for the 5 weeks? You must be joking! And let me tell you that's just mean!" George immediately jumps up, " No, no it's not a joke!" chuckling he sits back down and said, "you have earned this so stop looking at me like I've lost my mind." I think that the details I will leave in an envelope for you to open once you get there. You seem to be barely hanging on. I don't want to passing out on me!" I stick my tongue out when he said that but then I jumped up screamed and ran over and gave him a huge hug and kissed him right on the mouth. Just I quick kiss but a kiss nonetheless. He turned bright red and he's voice out all high and cracking, "ummm yeah well ummm I'm glad you like your surprise." he chuckles, "well dang if I knew that's how to get a kiss from you I would have done this a long time ago." I hit him in the arm, "ouch! Easy on the boss." laughing. It was my turn to get bright red. The rest of the day went by quickly. I kept wanting to pinch myself to check if this was real or not. Then I would look at my airline tickets and start jumping around hugging whoever was near me. That the end of the day I had to tell everyone goodbye. Honestly I thought I was gonna start crying. I'm missing the births of Thomas and Gerald's babies and I won't see any of them for over a month. It was sorta sad. But, I didn't stay depressed long. I couldn't wait to pack to plan my dream vacation. I had a little savings so with the bills paid I decided I was going to take it and enjoy life and worry about the money issues after my trip.

Ok, it's bedtime for me but next chapter is going to be her trip there and some exciting things are coming:)
