Sunday afternoon Todd and Lissa were on their way to meet us for lunch, my whole family was gonna be around including Kelly and Michelle because they wanted to meet "Thee Todd" so they say. Mom decided to cook for us with the help of Solange and Kelly while Michelle and I only volunteered to help in preparing the table. So after we were done we decided to go check on the food.

"Is the food ready yet" I asked as we entered the kitchen

"No greedy, but we're almost done though" Solange said doing whatever she was doing in the sink and I rolled my eyes at her then i felt ny phone vibrating from my pocket, I took it out and found a text from Todd saying they were just pulling up at our drive way.

"The guests are here already, I'll be right back" I said head to the door as soon as I opened it they were both standing there about to knock.

"Hey guys" I said smiling at the both of them and then hugged then and then we got inside with he leading them to where everyone was

"Hey fam, this is Todd and his lady Melissa, Guys this is my mother Tina, my sister Solange and my best friends more like sisters Michelle and Kelly" I said introducing everyone and they all greeted and hugged

"Nice to finally meet the man that's been there for my daughter and granddaughter, I truly appreciate all you've done for them" mom said as soon as they were Finnish with their greetings

"Its nothing Ms Tina, I did what I had to do and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Beyoncé will always be special and important to me" Todd responded making me blush for some reason

"You a good guy Todd" Solo added

Then suddenly we heard the front door open, then in walked Nicki coming back from work. I swear this girl's a workaholic she works every damn time even on weekends it don't matter. I was actually glad that this coming week she was gonna be off the whole week, she needs to rest. I actually convinced her to use that break to go visit her family back in NYC she hasn't seen them in a while and though she didn't like the idea but she agreed to go and I was happy. I mean I'll miss her coz she and I have never been separated for over two days since we became besties in high school but she needed this.

"Hey fam, ooh heey Todd " she greeted excitedly ad soon as she saw Todd and jumped to hug him "my God its good to see you again bro" she finally said after they broke the hug. They used to be good friends during the time Todd and I were married.

"Good to see you too Sis," he said matching her excitement "Hey this is Melissa the lady in my life, babe this is Onika she's Bey's best friend" He introduced and they hugged each other

"Lemme go change, I'll be back soon" Nicki said and then disappeared to her room.

"Come let me go introduce you to the guys Todd" I said leading him to the dinning room where Shawn and the other guys were watching a football match no really paying attention to whoever walks in.

"Gentleman" I said and they looked at me then back at the tv. I sighed then spoke again

"Guys this I Todd" everyone's heads shot up looking our way, I smiled I finally caught their attention"Yeah this is Todd, Todd meet Chad, he's Michelle's husband, Richard,mom's boyfriend and the infamous Shawn I know ya'll been dying to meet each other" I said causing the both to laugh

"Nice to finally meet you man" Shawn said while daping him.

"Like wise " Todd replied smiling.

"Well I'll leave you guys at it" I said walking away and into the kitchen back to the ladies.
