The Leader And The Friend

Another day has started.

The raven-haired girl opened her eyes, then pressed the button of the loud alarm clock.

"ugh.. too lazy to stand up.." she mouthed.

Her mom opened the creaking door, then switched the lights on.

Kagome closed her eyes once more; her eyes was terribly brightened from the white light.

"wake up, sleepy head." her mom giggled.

"yeah, yeah mom." She tried opening her eyes, and succeeded, which made her stand up and walk downstairs.

She sat on her dining chair, and started eating in silence.

Sota watched her eat.

"something wrong, sis?" he asked.

Kagome finished up her food and stood up, her legs pushing the chair away with full force, and made the chair fall down badly.

Sota's eyes opened wide.

"s-sorry, sis." he mouthed nervously.

Kagome stared coldly at him, then went upstairs to dress herself.

After that, she went down, all dressed up, yet her face still cannot be painted.

She grabbed her yellow bag, then walked away without saying anything.

Her mom noticed her attitude.

'what is wrong with that girl?! ' she exclaimed madly inside her mind.

Then not even a second, she remembered InuYasha's explanation.

Her icy stare soften as she realized her feelings.

She took a glance at Sota, and saw him shivering slightly.

"finish your food, my dear." she said.

"y-yes. I-I w-will." he replied in fear.

Her mom walked close to him, then tapped his head, calming Sota down.

"there, there. Just relax. please understand your sister." she stated.

Sota's shaking hands stopped, as he smile slightly.

"thanks, mom." he stood up, kissed his mom's cheek, took a grab at his bag, then ran away.

"goodbye, Sota." She whispered.

Kagome, on the other hand, has finally arrived at her school.

She stared at the school silently.

The huge golden gates was now rusting.

The scouts were now chatting, amd not standing properly.

Students can now go in and out of the campus, because the scouts payed no attention.

It is only the first week of school, yet many things had changed.

Kagome sighed, and walked past the gates.

She walked inside the school building.

She stopped walking when she saw events happening in the hallway.

Bullies, chatting, throwing eggs at each other, hugging, flirting, kissing, and many more.

"just like the old school days." She continued walking, ignoring the people around her.

When she finally came to her room, she walked in, while ignoring some balled papers being thrown by boys and girls.

She sat down, sighed, and looked to the side.
