Kristine POV

Next day...

It was finally to hear the results of last night.

Who got in and who didn't.

I was starring out the window waiting till we were supposed to be in our spots.

I felt someone hug me from behind. I turn to see my best friend.

"Bailey," I asked questioning it?

"Yup, you okay," Bailey asked?

"Just thinking I'm almost there. There's a chance I can win this whole thing. "

Bailey nodded. "I feel it too. For everyone at the school are told to vote at least twice."

I laughed.

"You got this."

I nodded. I gave her a hug and went to go meet up with the rest of the contestants.

I was behind the screen thing waiting.

Until I heard the lights come on. The music.

And american idol was live.

"Ladies and gentle men your american idol contestants."

The screen thing opened. And I can hear Dana and Gabe from the audience.

"Alright time to hear who America had voted for," Ryan said.

"First one save is..."

"Kristine."

My smile went from ear to ear. I hugged everyone and ran to Dalton.

"Aww," I heard the audience go.

I couldn't help but smile.

We listened to the rest of the people who stayed. And sadly Thomas didn't make it.

I looked at Tristan and Gianna.

"Alright now the first person to come up to have a chance at top 8," Ryan announced. "Olivia Rox."

I moved and sat on Dalton's lap. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist.

"I might fall asleep right here," Dalton said.

I couldn't help but laugh.

Soon Olivia was done getting positive feed back from the judges.

"Going up next, she's been going the last few times but not tonight," Ryan says. "Kristine Reyes."

"We could just go home right now

"KRISTINE," Jennifer yelled!

"I feel you Jennifer," Kelly added. "You my dear are so good. Watching you and seeing how beautiful you are and your voice. You have a gift."

"Kelly is right you even were able to hold that note. Which was I got to admit really cool," Keith added.

"You my dear just set the bar high for everyone here," Harry said. "Good job."

I smiled and ran to Dalton. And I sat back on his lap.

"Aww can I just kidnap you both," I heard Kelly say.

"Right," Jennifer added.

"Well coming up next..."

I just listened to everyone else sing. Boy were they good.

As I was watching I traced Dalton's tattoo like 20 times now.

"Are you bored," Dalton whispered in my ear.

I nodded.

Dalton smiled and had me lay my head on his shoulder to where I can still see people performing.

"Up next is someone who looks comfortable over there," Ryan said as the cameras and everyone looked at Dalton and I. "Dalton Rapattoni everybody."

I groaned quietly. And I got off of Dalton. But before he left he kissed me on the cheek.

"Hey keep it pg we have some children in the arena," Jennifer told us.

"Like Harry," Kelly spoke.

Everyone started laughing.

"Oh shoot did I say that out loud," Kelly realized.

Kelly ignored it and paid her attention to Dalton.

Who the entire performance couldn't keep his eyes off. I love this boy.

Soon he was done getting positive feed back. And making his way back.

"Babe you have to move," Dalton told me.

"But I'm too lazy," I told him.

"Fine," Dalton said sitting on me.

"I don't care I've been sat on by Bailey and Max," I told him.

Soon everyone was done. It was time to go over to Thomas.

I followed Gianna and Tristan. Till we saw Thomas.

"Were going to miss you," I told him.

"Don't worry, good luck to you girls," Thomas said before he left with his family.

I hugged everyone else. And I looked around. This is getting real.

For you never know who might leave next.

I just hope it isnt me or Dalton. For I don't want that to happen.
