Chapter 22. Impossible

After the tweet had been posted, I threw my phone down amid the lifeless, clutter spewed out all around my room.

Was I really going to end my life? No. No matter how much pain I was feeling right now, Harry had taught me death is not the answer.

My head was spinning. I had absolutely no idea how Harry could get so upset with me that he would just end things. It hurt more than anything.

My phone pinging off in the background every thirty seconds was just another noise running in and out of my head, but I actually attempted to read the messages flying across the screen.

Claire: babe, talk to me, what is going on?

Niall: Nina, please don't do anything stupid. there is a reason behind everything.

Liam: Nina, I may not like you very much but that doesn't mean I want to attend your funeral.

Katie: Nina please don't be stupid.

Stupid, they all thought of my actions as stupid-I'm sure they meant no harm, but that six lettered word burned into my skin.

I really didn't want to reply to anyone individually, so I tweeted again, hoping to make all of this pestering go away.

Can everyone just leave me alone, you are not helping?

Sending it, I turned off my phone and leaned against the wall, allowing my body to mold into its shape, before falling to the ground, and staring at the opposing wall, just thinking.

"Harry, are you stupid? You can't just end things like that with her, and you of all people should know she's fragile."

As curls blew against the wind, his face had stayed the same emotionless reflection it had been reflecting, for days now.

"No, I am not stupid."

He was being blunt, for he did not care of what the other boy thought of his actions, because the girl he loved broke his heart in two. He loved her, but something made his love for her void.

"You are impossible. What happened with you two? About a week ago you were head over heels in love and now it's like she's the last person you want to see."

His heart was still very much in love with her, but his head couldn't get over this hurdle that was stopping him from giving her his all, so he cut off their ties.

"Yep-impossible."

The other boy kept his next thoughts to himself. He knew this was his one shot to win her heart back. If his mate was going to be stupid and let her get away, then he'd use this opportunity to get her back.

Footsteps in sync, each boy looked straight ahead, even though they were looking at the same exact things-each saw something different.

One saw the end of a road, which they wanted to go on forever. The other saw the beginning of a new route, to find something they lost long ago.

I know this chapter is really short, and really just a filler but I promise the next few chapters is when all the drama will play out. Also it should help further understand Harry's actions, towards Nina. For those of you who still want Nina and Niall to happen I hope this makes you happy.
