chapter ten

~~~Tori's P.O.V~~~

"when's the attack going to happen?"

"how am i supposed to know, they don't tell me anything" I whine

"thats weird seeing as you're the only one who could defeat Kronos" states Hestia

"you,well I don't think they trust me that much, see as POseidon cursed me" I frown and suddenly everything turns black

~~~Vision~~~

I'm standing in the middle of the underworld to the right of me stands Maria on the floor in front of us, on his knees is Poseidon.

"Don't do this please you don't understand, it's what he wants" pleads Poseidon

"what do you mean it's what he wants?" says Maria pushing the head of her gun against his head.

"he wants you to kill me" stammers out Poseidon

"why?" forces Maria again

"because, i know how to kill Kronos" cries Poseidon

~~~end of Vision~~~

"Tori, Tori, Tori" someone was yelling into my ear and shaking me.

"whoever you are stop yelling and shaking me" I yell

"sorry freaks out a little when you suddenly collapsed, i got scared" says Hestia

"thanks for worrying, i guess"

"what happened in the vision?" asks Hestia

"how did you know it was a vision?" I ask

"your eyes they glazed over" I must have given Hestia this look because she starts to explain "it's a sign that happens when a person gets a vision"

"is the whole collapsing thing also a sign someone's having a vision?" I ask

"no that I believe has to do with the curse Poseidon put on you" answers Hestia

"oh, I need to speak with my father and Apollo" I say giving Hestia a shy little smile

"I called Apollo but I'll call your father" says Hestia getting up from the floor next to me, walking out of the room.

"k, great" I mumble, deciding to put myself into a sitting Position

~~~Poseidon's P.O.v~~~

Walking into my father kronos office, glancing at the door behind me. Walking over to his desk. I start to rummage through the paper he keeps lying around.

Not finding what i'm looking for, I start to look through the different parts of the room, knowing what i need is here in the office.

Nock, nock, nock came a noise from outside the door, "kronos it's your faithful servant the captain of your spy ring".

Freezing in my spot i look around for a place to hide. The door handle starts to jiggle from right to left and left to right "master you there" calls the captain again, the next sound that echoes through the hair is the rustling of keys.

My eyes grow to a huge size from fear when I realize there's no place to hide.

The sound of a key unlocking the door and the noise of the doorknob turning and the squeak of the door hinges straining as the door opened.

"Poseidon what are you doing here?" Skeptically looks the captain guard

"I was just looking for the paperwork on the mindsweep, i realized i left something out of the report" I smile

"Alright but hurry, and you're lucky it was only me" says the captain of the spies giving me the stink eye.

"Thank you I'll be done soon" I gently smile back

The second we walk out of the room and the door closes I continue to search where i left off. Out of the corner of my eye I notice one of the paintings on the wall is slightly crooked.

Walking over to take a closer look i can see that the painting is in fact not crooked but if half open (like one would open a fridge) and theres a safe hidden behind it

Using a lock pick I manage to get the lock to open and inside the safe there's a flash drive labeled lists.

I make a copy and put the original back and take the copied version for myself and get the hell out of the office.
