Kaitlyn's POV
"Didja kiss him?!?!?!?!?!" I studied the text from Randal.
I replied saying: "Uh, no. He wasn't even really around today, but I found out no kissing at school. Bummer. But anyway I don't think he is ready.. Can you do me a giant favor?? Next time you see him, ask him if he want's to or is even interested in kissing me. :P"
"Kk will do!" I imagined him screaming that happily, like he just turned into a gossip queen. Randal, a gossip queen. New thought. No thank you.
The next day I got a reply, around five in the afternoon.
"I talked to him." That's it? No answer? Come on, dude! ANSWER MY QUESTION!
".......and? What happened? What did he say?!" I was so exited I jumped out of my beanbag and literally skipped around my room.
The way I read the text, Randal wasn't happy. "I would rather not say..." Well, it's a no. Okay.
"So.. why did he say he didn't want to?" I was very curious to know.
A few minutes passed by without an answer. "......please tell me?" I wrote.
"Nuuuuuuuuuuuu" Wow. Strange answer. Oh god. He sounded like a whiney little child.
Probably not the best reply, but I just answered: "Randal! I need to know! I can finally see why he isn't acting comfortable around me!!"
A few minutes went by and then my phone buzzed. Thank god. "No, I promised I wouldn't tell." Great. Just great.
I tried to sound sad, but I really wanted to know. Pressing him was not a good thing, I understand that. But the way he was acting something was up. I had to know! "Oh. Okay... Well, I don't want to make you break that promise, but this means a lot to me. I swear I won't spill!"
"Fine." I just couldn't keep reading. My stomach was in my throat. "He is gonna break up with you wedneday."
I choked on my spit. I couldn't reply. "........." was all I wrote.
"Told u." Great.
"Oh, well batterys gonna die gtg!" Lame excuse, but true. My phone was low on battery.
No reply.
Later that night, I sobbed into my pillow. No way I could have my parents know about this. I called my best friend, Haley. "Yo. You've reached the voicemail of me! Haley! Oviously, I am busy, or I'm just too lazy to answer! Leave an entertaining message after the.." *BEEP*
"Hey, Haley, it's Kaitlyn. I have to talk to you. Don't care how lazy you are." I started to laugh, then cry. I stopped myself to finish the message. "It's my boyfriend. Tips? Call me back, kay? Love ya!"
