Chapter 24

"Natalie? What're you doing here?" Luke asked.

Shit.

"Luke.. I--"

"Were you spying on me?"

I sighed and nodded. There was no point in lying.

"But why? I thought you trusted me?" 

"I do trust you! But you lied to me!" I argued

"How the hell did I lie?" he said, his temper getting the best of him

"You said she was just an old friend! And she's not! and you never told me you were meeting up with her!"

"It was for good reason! And if you weren't so nosy you wouldn't have to worry about any of it!" 

"Oh, so I'm nosy now?"

"Yea, quite a bit actually" 

"Fine, be that way." I muttered picking up my phone that had fallen and walking away.

"You can't just walk away! We need to talk about this!"

"What's there to talk about? I can't trust you and you feel the need to go behind my back rather than be straight up."

His face softened and he frowned "So what now?"

"I think...I think we should break up" I choked out. I just couldn't deal with this again.

"Nat, no.." he said coming closer to me. I took a step back and shook my head.

He bowed his head and turned, walking the other way.

I turned to Samantha who gave me sympathetic look and walked over to me, putting an arm around my shoulder.

"I think you and I need a date with Ben & Jerry tonight" she frowned.

I guess it was really over. 

Okay.... very very VERY short chapter. But it's giving you an insight as to what's going to happen in the next chapter, which should be uploaded by the end of this week. Terribly sorry I haven't updated often like I promised... my mom being the clumsy person she is broke her leg leaving me to all the house work. Pooey.
