The school year flew by for Ichigo and Rukia. The excitement made it quicker, and before they knew it the last weeks of school were speeding by and it was time for prom.
Orihime and Rukia went dress shopping together again and they decided to go a little fancier this time. Rukia's was sleeveless. It came to her ankles and it was blood red with a rose design on the side of the skirt. Orihime's was long and ocean blue with a sparkly belt around the waste.
Even though Orihime was with Uryu and was now happy for Ichigo and Rukia, she still had feelings Ichigo. It lasted until prom when she danced with Uryu again. As she danced with the raven haired Quincy it felt right. She felt safer and more comfortable with him than she ever had with Ichigo. She felt the crush for him start to slip away and finally go toward Uryu. It felt wonderful.
