Anthony POV

A week has passed since the event & I have to say everything is back to its old self for sure Nicki is back at work & I'm in my office doing paperwork I want to marry Nicki but I don't wanna mess this up I want to spend the rest of my life with her & I know this because I said that I will never get married or have kids but I can see a future with her I didn't hear my door open until I hear my secretary call my name I looked up to see her in front of my desk

“Oh sorry Ms.Gladys I didn't hear you come in i was deep in my thoughts” I told her

She laughed & waved it off “Its OK I came to tell you that its time for you to go home you was supposed to leave 40 minutes ago” she said I looked at my watch & saw that it was time for me to go home I got up grabbed my suitcase & headed for the door

“Thanks Ms.Gladys” I said looking back

“Its no problem now get home to your beautiful girlfriend” she said Ms.Gladys met Nicki a couple days ago when she came to meet me for a lunch break

“Yeah let me go but ummm Ms.Gladys can I ask you something” I said

“Go ahead ask away” she said crossing her arms in front of her

“Do you think that if I proposed to Nicki she would say yes” I said rubbing the back of my neck

“She would love it if you proposed to her I can tell by the way you guys look at each other you know me & my husband use to be like you guys & after a few months of being together he proposed I was happy & said yes” she said showing me her ring “Now that old fool just work my nerves bit think be to god we've been married for 45 years” she told me I smiled at her little story

“Maybe you are right Ms.Gladys she would say yes thanks again by the way” I said walking out the office with her right behind me

“You welcome baby now go” she said shooing me off with her hand I laughed & got on the elevator when I got off I walked to my car got in & drove home

On my way home I was thinking of way I can propose to her when I got home I parked the car & went inside the house I walked in & saw Destiny on the couch doing some paperwork & Corey on the laptop doing a research

“Hey y'all what's up” I said to both of them they looked up & spoke at the same time

“Hey there” they both said

“Wheres Nicki” I asked taking off my jacket

“Upstairs sleep” Corey said then looked back at the laptop

I nod my head & walked upstairs to my room I opened the door walking in to see her sound asleep looking peaceful I walked up to the bed quietly climbed on top bent down & kissed her lips she woke up looking at me & smiled brightly

“Hey babe I missed you” I said laying down with her wrapping my arms around her waist

“Missed you too how was your day” she asked yawning

“It was alright but it got even greater to find you here safe & sound” i said making her giggle

We sat in silence for a while until I spoke up “Hey babe I was thinking we should go on another date Saturday what you say to that” I asked looking down at her

“That sounds great I'll go what time should I get ready & where we going” she asked looking at me

“Leave all that to me cause I wanna do something special” I told her

She squinted her eyes “What you got planned” she asked

I shook my head “You'll see now enough of that let's get some sleep I'm tired” I said getting up & stripping down to my boxers then climbed back in bed wrapped my arms back around her waist

“Alright then” she said & closed her eyes laying her head on my chest going back to sleep I smiled & kissed her head I can't wait to propose to the love of my life & make her mine forever I let sleep take over, went fast asleep a smile on my face with my love safe in my arms & our unborn twins unharmed
