Chapter Thirteen

I was walking through the store with Anthony feeling great about today until I felt someone tap my shoulder I turned around to see a old friend of mine from high school

“Oh my goodness Tiffany hey how have you been” I hugged her she hugged me back

“Ive been real good how you doing” she asked pulling back

“I actually been doing great” I told her she looked at Anthony then back at me

“So is the famous John Corey & Destiny told me bout” she asked looking beamed

I tensed a bit when I heard his name I shook my head “Well no me & John split up this my new boyfriend Anthony” I told her Anthony stuck his hand out & she shook it

“Nice to meet you” they both said at the same time

“Well I gotta go but get my number” Tiffany said getting her phone out we exchanged numbers said our goodbyes & continued what we was doing

“I got a bad feeling bout her babe” Anthony said getting a big bag of doritos

I looked at him crazy “What are you talking bout that one of my best friends” he looked down at me

“I know but its this feeling that I get when I'm round her” he said shivering a little

“Trust me she's a good friend I knew her since high school” I told him putting the juice in the cart

“Well just listen when I get these feelings I'm never wrong just keep an eye out on her” he told me I nodded my head

I mentally rolled my eyes Tiffany is not a bad friend I mean yeah we got into it when she found out that john likes me & not her but we forgave each other after that altercation she will never betray me.....will she right

We got done shopping went to the counter & paid for our stuff we put the things in the car & drove home when we got there we saw Corey & Destiny cars in the driveway

We unloaded the things & went in the house “Hey y'all guess who I saw” I asked them

“Who” they both said

“Tiffany from high school” I said with a big smile on my face they looked at me with a ugly dace & went back to watching tv

“Did y'all hear me” I asked the two

“We heard you we just don't have nothing to say about that thing” Corey said getting his candy from Anthony when he walked back in the room

“I thought you guys was cool with her” I said

They looked at each other & laughed “Who told you that lie” Destiny said

I looked at them crazy “Well she said that you two told her that me & John was together” they turned they head from the tv

“We didn't tell her nothing” Corey said

I tilted my head then just shook it “Whatever but I'm finna go call her & set up a lunch date”

I walked away into the kitchen & called her she picked up on the fourth ring

“Hey what's up girl” she beamed over the phone

“Hey you want go on a lunch date in bout 30 mins if you not doing nothing” I asked

“Yeah sure let's go to La Che Cafe” she said

“Alright see you there goodbye” I said then hung up 

I went upstairs & freshened up came back down to see them watching a movie “Alright y'all I'm heading out to meet up with Tiffany” I told them going towards the door but stopped when Anthony called me I turned around

“Babe wait” he walked up to me “Remember what I said” I nodded my head he kissed me “Alright have a nice time be safe”

“I will” I said waved bye & was out the door got in my car & drove to the cafe

When I got there I saw Tiffany at a booth I went in & walked to the table she stood up & hugged me

“What's up girly what you wanna talk bout” she said

“Lets catch up I haven't seen you in so long” I told her the same waitress from me & Anthony lunch date came to take our order she mean mugged me I rolled my eyes

“What y'all like” she asked

“Can I get a caramel iced coffee” I said “i would like a mocha iced coffee” tiffany said

She wrote our orders down walking away without sizing me I just shook my head

“So how did you & john brake up” tiffany asked sitting up

I swallowed “He was being abusive to me for the past one year & half” I told her she gasped I couldn't do nun but nod my head

“Oh my goodness you poor thing why did he put his hands on you” she said with her over her chest

“Because he was so stressed out bout his job so he started drinking & smoking then would hit me for no reason accused me of cheating & would rape me from time to time” I told her

She nodded her head like she understood where I was coming from with tears in her eyes she reached across the table & rubbed my hand the waitress came back with our drinks

“Here y'all go” she said putting the drinks on the table then mean mugged me again I got tired of that

“Do you have a problem with me or something” I asked her she just laughed “Dont worry yo time is coming” she said then laughed  again walking away

“That was crazy” tiffany said I looked at her & nod my head, we talked for a couple hours got up said our goodbyes & went our separate ways

On my way home I was thinking bout what that waitress that bitch must be crazy when I got home I walked in & saw they was still on the couches watching tv Anthony looked up at me

“Hey babe how was your lunch date” he asked I walked over to him & later on top of him

“It was good but that same waitress from our lunch date is crazy as hell” I told him he looked at me with his head tilted

“What do you mean” he asked I shook my head

“ill tell you later”i told him & layed my head on his chest & watched tv with them

Unknown POV

IMA fuck that bitch up for taking my man he was mine first when I get my hands on her im going to slit her throat & have him all to myself & no one is gonna stop me.
