Crystal was an ordinary girl, with an ordinary life.
Wait. Screw that. You read it in the blurb right? Crystal was far from ordinary. More like abnormal. She was the only first-born in history to not discover her powers yet.
This planet is also called Earth, and is similar to the Earth you call home. In size and technology wise anyway.
Every first child born into a family, be it a boy or girl, will receive a special power by the age of 15. The different powers range widely, from being a healer, a Psychic, Shape Shifter, or others.
Once you receive your powers, you will be sent to a special school that specialises in teaching you how to use them. All healers go to one school, all Physics go to another and so on.
I know. It sounds crazy right? Bias-ty towards first-borns. But thats life. And life is always unfair.
Take me for example. I passed my 15th birthday 8 months ago. Since then, people in my school treat me like a freak. Do you know why? I think you do.
My name is Crystal, and this is my story.
