Chapter 19 - Always have, Always will

Austin: Do you actually think that they still have feelings for each other?
Abigail: The way that they look at each other seems like they do

I was on Skype with Austin talking about my mom and dad. For the past couple of days that we've been here, it felt like mom and dad had been getting closer as the days went by.

Austin: What about Katherine?
Abigail: she's getting annoyed at it 
Austin: That's understandable
Abigail: The situation would have been better if there wasn't a baby on the way
Austin: And you can't exactly get rid of that
Abigail: Nope

Katherine: I don't want them staying here anymore
Harry: Why not? 
Katherine: I'm just not happy with Pamela sleeping under the same roof as you
Harry: There's nothing to be worried about
Katherine: She's your ex wife
Harry: Exactly, ex wife
Katherine: I know you harry, it took you years to get over her after she left you and Abi
Harry: And that's in the past

I wasn't exactly being nosy, but they were speaking quite loud. Dad and Katherine were in the Kitchen arguing about mom. Being here a week has made Katherine ten times more jealous of mom being here. 

Katherine: Look me in the eyes then Harry, and tell me that you don't have feelings for Pamela
Harry: I can't do that
Katherine: I knew it!
Harry: Kath, she's was my first love and wife, of course i'll have feelings for her
Katherine: That's why you wanted her to stay here
Harry: What?
Katherine: You wanted her to stay here so you two could come close again and she'd fall in love with you again
Harry: That's not true
Katherine: Then why did you want her to stay here?
Harry: So she didn't spend money on a hotel, plus so she'd be with Abi

The argument went on for quite, but by the end of it , Katherine had walked out. I won't blame her though, if it was me and Austin in that situation, i would walk out. 

Hours after their argument, Katherine still wasn't back. I'm glad that she's not back though, i never liked her in the first place. To be honest, i have no idea what dad sees in her. 

Harry: She's still not answering my calls
Abigail: Why are you trying anyway, dad?
Harry: She's my wife, Abi
Abigail: She made you kick out your daughter and she tried to do it again only a few hours ago
Harry: She's pregnant, Abi, anything could happen to the baby if they're out in the cold
Abigail: Was it planned?
Harry: Huh?
Abigail: The baby? Was it planned?
Harry: no
Abigail: It wasn't?
Harry: No
Abigail: But it was a good surprise to find out right?
Harry: Yeah

As me and my dad sat on the sofa in the living room, i could tell in his eyes that it wasn't a good surprise. 

Abigail: Dad, can i ask you something?
Harry: Course, sweetie
Abigail: How do you feel about mom?
Harry: i thought we talked about this years ago
Abigail: But that was before you two saw each other again
Harry: so?
Abigail: Your feelings could have changed by now
Harry: alright, I'm not going to lie, i'll always love your mom, i always have and always will
Pamela: You what?...
