Albus was to scared and shy to ask Francine Longbottom out. Alice her sister knew Albus liked Francine because:
A. She's dating James FREAKNG Potter. She knows the Potter boys really well.
B. Albus is so obvious.
She helped Albus to pluck up some courage and ask. So when he did he started to mumble and stutter. Alice promised Albus to not come out of her hiding place but she couldn't take it anymore, she jumped out beside Albus and screamed:
"ALBUS REALLY LIKES YOU AND WANTS TO DATE YOU!"
Albus thanked Alice for that on Francine and his's wedding day.
The inspiration for writing this story is when just yesterday I made a stupid pact with my friends to tell our crushes right before they graduate cause their one year older than us that we (or used to) like them. If i don't they're gonna tell! I'm bawling my eyes out! Regrets, regrets, regrets.
