Chapter 01
Alicia's P.O.V
My heart is beating so fast. Tears streaming down my face. I'm convulsing, I can't control myself right now. I'm hurt, I'm broken.
I whimpered to myself as I slowly walked down the stairs. Have you ever been so scared before that you're even afraid to move? Well, that's how I felt, and right now fear was gripping me so hard I was shaking. I wiped away a stray tear from my cheek and stared at the damaged oak doors in front of me.
Then suddenly a noise sounded from the kitchen.
I froze.
I was silent.
I was stuck.
I started to panic, that was when I heard a man shuffling towards the door I was frozen behind. I was breathing heavily, he was too.
What do I do next?
I quickly glanced at the front door.
I have nothing left, but the scars and bruises covering my body. Never before, have I realised how dangerous all this was.
So, this is the first chapter, sorry it's short.
