"Breakfast" My very loud sister screamed up the stairs, startling me.

"No duh, Sherlock!" I yelled back at her as I walked down the stairs. She rolled her eyes and stomped off, I giggled in response. She turned around to face me and in one smooth movement, launched her banana at me.

"What the heck!" I yelled as I dodged the flying yellow fruit. i grabbed a small breakfast and put two apples in my bag, then headed off to see Dojo.

I walked in the barn and seen the figure of a young boy. my breath caught in my throat and I stopped dead in my tracks, what was he doing here?

"Jay, what are you doing here?" I asked shocked. "I'm here because my dad is going out of town this weekend to pick up a new horse." He said as if it was normal. "Wait, you'll be staying here all weekend?" I was super surprised. "Yup, that's the plan." he said as he turned away from me.

"Cool." I tried to say this as normal as possible but I was SO excited!

We hung out for a bit, talking about horses, video games, and music. He was so funny that I couldn't help but laugh at all his jokes. He ended up having to leave with my dad for work, so I went on a ride with Dojo. The trails were so beautiful and everything looked so alive and green. Grass lined the trail with Wild Flowers blooming everywhere. There were so many colors, mostly being pink, purple, blue, too many to name. The smell was of different aromas. looking ahead, I noticed the trail twists and turns, and all the beauty making it impossible to think of what you're going to see around the next corner. We came to a huge pasture that bordered a mountain I couldn't help but want to go up it. After a couple minutes of looking I found a trail that led me up, Dojo was loving it here, l was too.

When we reached the top, I saw something in the distance... it was A herd of wild horses! There were about a dozen horses and all so unique. Blacks, whites, different shades of browns, and then there was a bay, he must have been a stallion. I got off Dojo and let him eat while I tried to get closer. I got maybe a few feet away and hid behind a tree and watched as the wild horses ate. my phone rang and spooked all of the horses. I frowned, then answered the call. It was Mollie who called looking for me. The bay turned and saw me as I walked back to Dojo.

~The Bays POV~

The creature I had heard was a girl, and I saw her walk back to a horse I'd never seen before. I called my lead mare and she stuck her head up and looked at me. She knew the drill and started taking my mares and their foals deeper into the woods as I made sure no one followed. I turned once more to see the girl get on the blue horse and turn away.
