Chapter 30

Alright, so i know this is pretty lame.. And i know i am pretty lame for not updating in like 2 months, but school has been hectic and i have had his half a chapter sitting in my drafts for a while so i thought i would give you guys this little update while i finish off my exams.

I jumped up in bed.

Whippet moved his head back, his face completely serious yet gentle

A small silence filled the room

"Are you serious?"

By now he was sitting up next to me

"Well.. Yeah... I mean, we are going to get married eventually....And, I mean... I want to be with you and I want you to know that... I don't know... It just feels right"

My eyes searched his for some sign of amusement telling me this was a joke

"Really?"

He nodded his head

A thousand things were buzzing through my mind. Conflicting me.

My lungs felt tight, the anxiety of commitment slowly settling in..

But then again, the thumping of my heart in my chest, the butterflies in my stomach and the excitement that came with the thought of waking up next to this man for the rest of my life was so overwhelming that I knew what my reply was going to be.

Of course

There was no other answer than

"Yes"

"Yes?" Whippet repeated, slowly sitting up a little more

I nodded my head "Yes"

A smile took over his face within a millisecond and suddenly I was in his arms, his lips pressed to mine.

And I knew I had made the right choice.
