I have always wanted to know what happens when the Dragonborn dies. I guess Sovngarde is quite obvious. But one of my characters has done every quest for the Divines and the Daedra. So will my Dragonborn go to Oblivion, or the Everglade, or Sovngarde or follow and serve one of the Divines in spirit form or serve one of the Daedra in their place in Oblivion? Or will my Dragonborn just simply wonder? Or will her soul end up being split up to serve every Divine and Daedra and go to Sovngarde? Or will the Divines and the Daedra fight for my Dragonborn? Or will the men and women of Sovngarde fight for her to go to Sovngarde? Or will it be the first god to snatch my dragonborn’s soul?
It’s interesting when you think about it, because you are never going to find out. When your Dragonborn dies you just respawn. So you’ll never know where you Dragonborn goes.
