Merlin/ Emry's POV

It was clear Arthur wasn't as confident as I was. He hadn't waited as long as I had. He had no idea what his destiny really is, I mean what seemed like centuries to me felt like minutes too him. He didn't know anything about his destiny but I have some idea at least.

He must become King once more, the dragon had told me that the day he had died in my arms. There was no denying that, no way around that and we both had to accept it and do all we can.

At the moment everything seems to be running alright. I mean not everything can be perfect, it was never was back in Camelot when Arthur was king but I think something is coming and its getting closer.

I can't tell how I know I just have this feeling. Like I also have this feeling we must find where Camelot once stood, where the castle once stood because once there I think that is where it will begin. The rise of King Arthur.

"Merlin," whispered Arthur. I suddenly snapped back to reality to find Arthur standing next to me.

"Oh sorry, I was thinking for a second," I whisper.

"We have been at this for a few days now. I mean its great learning more about earth now. How it is like but we have no lead, no idea where the castle stood," sighed Arthur.

I could tell he was losing heart. I couldn't blame him but I could have lost heart a long time ago. Its only been a few days, somethings will never change I suppose.

"I'm sure we will find it. I know it Arthur its your destiny to find it. Trust me, destiny may not always work out the way you hope but it does the way its meant too. Like I thought I was meant to keep you alive and protect you to be king for a long time but I was wrong about that. I always was to be honest but it had worked out the way it was meant too. I had to wait a long time though. So, Arthur a few days is nothing trust me. I have a plan who might know but we need to do a bit of traveling. I don't like the idea of Gaius coming with us though," I begin.

"You do realise if we take the knights but not Gaius he will just come anyway," said Arthur.

"Darn it, your right," I sigh.

"Somethings don't change," he smiled.

"Yes, exactly what I was thinking."

"Merlin, who do you think will know?" he asked suddenly after a few minutes of silence as we both looked into the distance from the window.

"Someone that believes in the myths," I whisper.

"The myths?" he asks.

"Yeah the myths of King Arthur and Merlin."

Arthur looked a little taken aback for a second but he smiled after a few seconds. "Tell me more about Merlin Arthur?"

Flashback

"Nothing is safe, even if magic is brought back now?" Merlin Arthur asked me as we settled down into our blankets that we laid out on the ground of the forest we had been travelling through.

"No, far from it. But with your mother in charge and when the times for you to take the throne I know it will be a much peaceful place. Don't lose heart, because I haven't," I smiled.

"What would my father say if he knew about me?"

"I'm not sure but I do know this. He would be proud to have a son like you. He would be over the moon that his son can carry on the Pendragon name but in a good way from now on because your grandad wasn't the greatest or nicest of Kings," I say.

"Yeah, mum said. I mean he tried to kill my mum. If I ever met him I would have hated him," he said.

"Shouldn't hate him even if he did that. He was just too scared and sometimes a bit too determined on his laws then he should have been that's all. He just couldn't see how wonderful Gwen would be as Queen and a wonderful wife to your father. Come on we should get some rest. We should arrive there by nightfall tomorrow if we start off early. Sleep well, Merlin Arthur," I whisper as I laid down probably and close my eyes falling slowly to sleep.

End of Flashback

"What happened? Did you get there with no problems?" Arthur asks me.

"Well," but I didn't finish my sentence as someone knocked on my bedroom door. "Come in!" I called.

Lancelot came into the room. "We have a problem," he said quickly.

"What is it?" Arthur asked before I could.

"We have some strange figures outside and they are looking right up at us," Lancelot says.

"How do you know that? "

"Because when I looked the window he pointed right at me," says Lancelot just as a loud scream was heard from outside.

I think we got trouble!
