As the adrenaline rushes through her veins, she notices something. Something she never really thought about before. The trails are rutted and uneven, the bike rocketing over the roots and through the mud on this gorgeous day. Her grip around his waist is tight; her excuse is that she doesn't want to fall off. Of course, she would hold onto him anyway.

As all of this is going through her mind, as this adventure occurs, she realizes that it is much easier to truly fall in love a second time when you are not doing so to forget someone else. She realizes that she can fall again.

And even though she knows that when you fall in love, you may not get caught, and even if you are, you may not be held for long, she knows its worth the pain that may come later.

So as the seasons change, and as Autumn falls,

She falls too.
