Andrew’s POV

“Give me my medicine!”

“Try to relax Mrs. Anderson. Your medicine is coming.”

She points at me with a frail and boney finger while she yells at me. 

“I will not relax. I am in pain.”

“The more you struggle, the more you will be in pain. Now calm down or I’ll personally go cancel your meds. We both know that you don’t have much longer.” I mumble the last part as I jot down a note on my work tab folder and place a glass of cold water on the old hags food table. She hacks with a fit of coughs and I am just thankful that my words shut her up. I truly do hate working here sometimes. I always get stuck with the crappy intern like jobs to do. Sponge bathe people, give them meds, take their temperatures, change bed sheets, all of the boring and usually nasty stuff. I wish that I would actually get a position that I like. Hell, at least one that I am qualified for.

“Try to rest Mrs. Anderson. Your meds will be here soon. I promise.” I pat her foot at the end of the bed as she nods and closes her eyes for what I am supposing to be her fifth nap of the day. She is in here for a hip replacement and she is by far my worst patient ever. All she does is nag and complain. Freaking women, and this is why I am glad that I prefer men. 

“Hey Andrew!” Another nurse, Jenny, says as I pass her in the hall with my folder in hand. She is one of my many admirers. She seems to believe that flirting with me will lead to us actually hooking up sooner or later. She just doesn’t know how to take a hint. I do not like girls!

“Er, hi Jenny.” I wave back at her and try to rush down the hall. I place Mrs. Anderson’s folder in the pile of the other patients’ and lean against the counter. Down the hall I can see Nick, the most gorgeous, sexy piece of ass that I have ever seen. The guy could wear only a wash cloth and look edible. His scrubs sit on his body perfectly and hug all of the right spots. Hell, even his white trench like coat makes him look good.  I can’t help but smile every time I see him.

“Eyeing Doctor hottie again?” I hear from beside me and I look to see Megan, a friend of mine and also a fellow nurse. She just transferred here from another hospital and so far I am her only friend. She caught my drift right away and found out that I was gay, so we get along just great. It also helps that she is a lez.

“Har, har, har. Of course I am. What better do I have to do?”

“Point well put.” She shrugs and leans against the counter with me. I can see her eyes then glaze over as he focus transfers to her crush, Sally, who is also Doctor hottie’s helper nurse. She does all of his running and keeps him san throughout the days.
