4:00 am
You're receiving a call from Chris.

"Hello?" I said groggily,
"Hello? Is this Margo?" A woman's voice asked,
"Uh yeah. Who is this?"
"Oh! Chris's mother. He's been asking for you in the hospital." I instantly became wide awake,
"Hospital?? Why is he in the hospital?"
"He has a concussion." She paused and breathed heavily, "But Margo. There's something wrong."
"Wrong?"
"Margo. Chris, h-he wasn't supposed to play football yet, the doctor falsely cleared him. And now basically, well, the way the doctor explained it, it's basically like he has a double concussion, there's a lot of head trauma, and they're saying it's not good...he's about to go into surgery, to see if they can get the bleeding in his brain to stop. I hope you can come visit him, before surgery, just in case."
"What are you saying?"
"Just...can you come to the hospital?" I checked the time, it was 4:00 in the morning,
"Sure. I'll be there soon."
"But...Margo? Brace yourself."
