Chapter 15.
“I love you too.” He said. His lips pressed against my forehead and I smiled. “Goodnight babe.
“Goodnight Luke.” I whispered.
Tears poured down my cheeks, Luke’s arms encircled me tightly, I felt tear drops lightly hit my shoulder.
“I’ll miss you babe.” He whispered. I brought his head up and kissed him. Tears poured down his cheeks. I pulled away and wiped his tears away. I didn’t want him to leave, my heart sank into my stomach when heard Michael talk.
“Alright Annie we have to go.” Michael said.
“Ok.” I said with more tears coming out. “Bye Luke.” I kissed him passionately before letting him go.
“Goodbye Annie, I love you.” He said kissing me once more.
“I love you too.” I said as I watched him leave. His plane finally took off and I watched it until I couldn’t see it any more. I couldn’t stop crying. I felt a pair of hands rest on my shoulder.
“I’m sorry baby girl.” My mom said to me.
“I’m going to miss him mommy. I love him.” I cried.
“Oh honey.” She said pulling me close. “I’m sure he’s doing the same thing you’re doing right now.” She hushed me. “Let’s go home baby, how about some ice-cream and we watch some good old Disney movies.” I nodded my head and managed a smile. I looked back out the window and yet again my heart dropped to my stomach. I love you Luke, I thought before walking out of the airport.
