It's been five years since Eren and I met. Eren was twenty and I was nineteen and going to be twenty on November third. It has been one heck of a year, too. Neither Eren or I went to college, mainly because we had no money, but we do now. Eren and I started a coffee shop in the small down of Southampton called Eremin's. Mikasa moved to London to work at a big support group for homeless children and kids living in poverty. It suited her. I was not on  testosterone*, but I was well on my way to get it. I couldn't wait, and I scheduled so six months after starting testosterone, I was going to get top surgery*. I don't think my life could get much better. Eren and I lived in a small apartment near our shop, and on top of that, I had just hit 100,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel. Before I moved to Southampton, I didn't even know what YouTube was. Now I'm YouTube famous, and I bet all 100,000 subscribers are transgender. I just also received my silver Play Button from YouTube congratulating me on 100,000 subs. Life's looking up; it really is.

"Armin, you get evaluated in an hour, we should get ready," Eren sat up slowly in our bed, and I remember that just five years ago, we didn't have a bed.

"Oh, yeah, the evaluation!" I jumped from my side of the bed and landed my feet on the cold, wooden floor. Eren laughed at my enthusiasm. "I can't wait to see where they refer me to! I've been waiting so long for this!" Eren laughed again.

"Yeah, I'm excited for you," I flashed him a smile and ran a shower. I personally hated taking showers. Whenever I took a shower, I either kept my eyes closed as much as possible, or I just never looked down. Because I always have those days where I feel really manly and I feel like I pass really well, and then I have to take a shower and I see who I really am.

But that won't bug me today. I will not open my eyes, but I won't dwell on it. Today my GP is going to send me to a doctor so I can get Testosterone! I'm so excited! After all, I might get my first injection next week. I couldn't be happier.

I wrapped several towels around myself (I didn't like the way towels curled around my waist and hips, so I hid them under about five towels) and walked into our room. I threw on a random t-shirt and my favorite jeans, and began blow-drying my hair. It always took a while to get it all dry because my hair was pretty thick. Once it was done, I practically hopped next to Eren and shook him.

"Eren, you should go take a shower now!" Eren sat up and smiled at me.

"Okay," he leaned in and tried to give me a quick hug, but I pushed him away.

"You can't touch me until you take a shower, you're all sweaty," Eren rolled his eyes.

"Okay, whatever Mr. OCD. I'll be right back," I giggled and pulled out my phone, which was the same phone I had five years ago. It still worked fine. I had a message from one of my friends named Alex. He also just recently hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Alex: Hey, aren't you getting evaluated today?

Me: Yeah, what about you and Jake?

Alex: We're both getting evaluated next week. So excited!

Me: You should be! Good luck

Alex: You too, man

I turned off my phone and stared at our little fish in the fish tank. It was really happy. It just swam around like it didn't care about anything.

Eren walked into our bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist.

"This is our last towel in there, and there's five towels laying on the ground. I wonder who could possibly have taken them..."

"Sorry I feel weird with only one towel," Eren nodded.

"Okay," Eren pulled a shirt over his chest." Can you go somewhere else I'm not wearing anything under this towel."
