“A ….flying…….. car….. “ sabi ni Headmaster emphasizing each word,  habang tinitignan kami isa-isa… nang tumama ang mata nya sa kin…. Napayuko na lang ako… nyiiii…. Takot talaga ako… huhuhuhuhuhu.

Nakakahiya man pero nandito kami 5, naming: Zia, Alex, Sky, Josh and yours truly… at nakaupo kami sa harapan ng desk ni Headmaster.

Kinakabahan talaga ako… 1st time kong ma-headmaster’s office in a bad way… I’ve always been a model student, that’s why this is very much new to me… Tinignan ko si Sky at Alex… Not a hint of intimidation  is written on their face… BALE WALA??? At nakukuha pang magkalabitan! Ilang beses na kayang na-office tong mga ito… parang sanay na sanay na! I looked at Josh… He looks bored! Humikab pa! Only Zia looks alert and ready to answer any questions that will be coming her way… Now I can see a different side of her… she is holding her head high with an aura of confidence… it’s as if, she’s ready to defend our cause… hmmm not bad for a future lawyer… kaya pala nyang maging intimidating kahit mukha syang anghel…

“Really Josh??? A flying car?” haaayyyy,,, wala na bang ibang pwedeng sabihin si Head Master… as in, kanina pa nya pinaulit-ulit yon! Kaya siguro nabo-bore na si Josh at hindi na mapakali si Alex at Sky.

“Really sir… you might as well release us because,  I can’t see anything that you can hold against us… there are hundreds of policies in the school but I guess none of those can be charge against us… “ Sabi ni Zia… hmmmm parang nasa korte lang… WAY TO GO ZIA!!!

Tumingin si Headmaster Kay Zia.

“There’s nothing about Flying cars in it…  is there? “

Sympre kaya wala…. Ngayon lang naman naimbento yun… hahahahahaha! Yes!!! Sa tingin ko lusot na lusot kami!

Kumunot ang noo ni Headmaster.. and he sighed heavily… as if he’s already accepting defeat.

“Alright…. I am not going to charge anything on all of you… “ he said…

Haaaaayyy… nakahinga ako ng maluwag… Thank goodness!!! Gravy naman kung magkakarecord ako… bagong salta lang ako dito…

“I am only after your safety and the safety of the other students… look what happened in the field… anyone could get hurt!”  sabi ni Headmaster.

“But nobody did… “ sabi ni Josh…

Tumingin si Headmaster kay Josh…

“And you Josh, how many times do I have to tell you…. NO TESTING OF INVENTIONS AROUND CAMPUS! You can do it in your lab, kaya nga pinagawa yang laboratory mo.”

“Ok,,, so I’ll just fly the beetle inside my lab.” Sabi ni Josh, note the sarcasm…

“Don’t play dumb on me Josh…. You know what I mean… “ tinignan nya ng masama si Josh who just only shrugged…

Silence…

Ilang minutong nag-isip si Headmaster.

“OK here’s the deal, I know your inventions are breakthrough to your company, I will permit you to test your things …..”

Ngumiti silang lahat….

“ BUT….. I’m not finished yet…  “

Natahimik ulit kaming lahat.
