| Tadashi's POV |
"Ready to go home?" Aunt Cass asks her nephew.
"Ready," He breathes. He follows his aunt out of the hospital. All he can think of is seeing you. He's not sure when he can, but he wants to. You were released earlier today. Wasabi drove you home.
In the car, Tadashi looks out the window, imagining just how beautiful you'll look. What the reunion will be like. In his head, he looks like this pre-fire self. His less scarred, less pink self. But that's not how it'll be.
"Alright, sweetie. Everyone is going to meet us at the cafe."
Tadashi looks over at Aunt Cass. "Everyone?"
Aunt Cass smiles. "Yeah. Everyone. ___ will be there, too."
Tadashi can't help but grin. He's going to actually see you.
When Cass finally parks in front of the cafe, Tadashi leaps out of the car. He runs to the doors and throws them open.
Everyone is saying his name, smiling, talking to him, but all Tadashi can see is you. You stand in the back, staring at him. You smile nervously. Tadashi crosses the room in just three huge steps.
You look up at him. "Tadashi-" You begin, but you're cut off as Tadashi takes you in his arms and presses his lips to yours.
