Two weeks had passed since the night Ashton and Luke had met after work to talk. They would always text each other, and would visit each others' shops during work. Michael had grown a large liking to Ashton, and Calum to Luke.

Michael still called Ashton 'Juliet' which Ashton didn't seem to mind.

It had officially been a month of the two boys knowing each other. They weren't technically together, but they always held hands and gave each other quick pecks on the cheek. But never proper kisses.

However, Luke and Ashton had never been able to see each other when they didn't have work, always having something come up. Whether it be extra working hours, or family visits, they were never able to privately meet up.

Although tonight, the two boys were finally going out to see a movie together.

They had texted each other before hand so they knew where they were going to meet up, and all the details.

Luke and Ashton were both ready and they each left their houses to leave. They eventually united and they couldn't help but 'awe' over one another.

"You look so cute, I'm surprised you weren't taken when I first talked to you." Luke complimented. Luke's shyness had died down. He was much more open with Ashton now. And so was Ashton with Luke.

"I'm surprised no one pinned you to a wall and made out with you while you were walking here."

"Who said no one did?" Luke smirked.

"Shut up, you're making me jealous." Ashton nudged Luke, playfully.

"Wait. So you do wanna make out with me? Ashton Irwin wants to make out with me. It's official." Luke joked, pointing at Ashton, and looking around, as if telling the people around him the news.

"Shut up and start moving." Ashton giggled, trying to hide his blushy cheeks.

They walked hand in hand to the cinema and soon ordered their popcorns and sat in their seats. They were watching a horror movie, which Luke hoped Ashton liked.

And if he didn't, he had the chance to show Ashton how brave and protective he was.

Which didn't happen.

They were halfway through the film and the blond was practically trembling in his seat, trying to cuddle with the smaller boy out of fear.

"Luke, are you ok? We can go out for a while if you're scared." Ashton whispered.

"No. I - I'm fine. Thank you." Luke replied.

Ashton looked over at Luke's hand and grabbed it, squeezing it gently to show Luke that it was ok. The blond looked up at Ashton, meeting his eyes, and smiled fondly at the smaller boy.

After the movie, the two walked around, the city lights illuminating the streets, and the purple night sky was filled with beautiful shining stars.

Ashton held Luke's hand tighter, and looked around.

"You ok, Ashton?"

"Yeah. Just. Dark."

Luke smiled at Ashton, and let go of his hand. He lifted his arm, and slipped it around the shorter boy's waist, pulling him closer.

Ashton flashed a toothy grin, before looking down, his facial expression loosening.

"Luke?" he asked.

"Yeah, Ashy?"

Ashton smiled for a second at the nickname before going back to his sad facial expression.

"Ok, so, I know we've only known each other for a while - well a month - but I - I think- I just -- " he stuttered, not able to word his sentence properly.

"Ash, calm down. Don't rush." Luke said calmly, squeezing Ashton's hand with a smile. He didn't know what the boy was trying to say, but he knew it was probably something important.

Ashton sighed and then beamed brightly at Luke's gentle caring side. He closed his eyes and held Luke's hand firmly, before looking into Luke's blue eyes, and couldn't help but giggle.

"What's funny?" the blond asked.

"Nothing." Ashton replied, still giggiling. "It's just. Out of everyone I've been with, which really aren't that many, you care the most and I've known you less than all of them..."

"Is that a good thing?"

"Extremely good thing."

"Well, I'm glad. You deserve to be cared for."

Ashton blushed, looking down at the ground. He fixed his fringe and then met eyes with Luke. He stared deep into Luke's blue ones, which were way better than his dull hazel ones.

The blonde stared back, not caring if it looked creepy to anyone around them. He gazed into Ashton's hazel eyes, which although some people might find a boring colour, Luke found them incredibly perfect.

Before the two boys knew it, their lips touched softly, as they both fluttered their eyes closed.

Ashton's stomach fluttered with butterflies, as Luke's heart beat quickened. The taller boy placed his hands around the smaller boy's waist and Ashton wrapped his arms around Luke's neck, both of them pulling each other closer.

They didn't care that they were in plain sight. At that moment, time stopped completely and it was just Luke and Ashton. No one else. It was like re-living a scene from a movie, and the two boys didn't want it to stop.

They soon let go, giggling together, - both slightly out of breath - still in the same position.

"Hey, Luke?"

"Yeah, Ashton?"

"I can say what I was going to say now."

"And what's that?"

"I think I'm in love with you."

Luke's smile grew wider as he pulled Ashton closer.

"Well, I dont think. I know. And what I know is that I am completely, utterly, and tremendously in love with you, Ashton Irwin."

Ashton gave off the biggest smile he could possibly conjure up. The two boys gave each other one final kiss before walking off, hand in hand, as everyone stared. Not that the two cared.
